Provides free legal services for low-income Latinos and Native Americans who were affected by Covid-19. Eligibility is open to any legal area where NW Justice Project typically represents clients, including but not limited to: debt collection, including landlord/housing-related debt (rent and mortgage), medical debt, and credit card and auto debt. Also provides access to relief and traditional benefit programs (rent and mortgage); housing conditions; health care access; unemployment; Workmen’s Comp issues; educational interruption and special education needs; and Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) investigation and involvement.

Clinic staff offers advice-only services with respect to document review, criminal and civil litigation advice, probate matters, family law matters, explanation of the scope of Tribal Court jurisdiction, assistance with access to Tribal Court, and other routine matters.   Appointments usually last one hour.

Chinese Information and Service Center, Asian Bar Association of Washington, and Asian Counseling and Referral Service partner with the King County Bar Association to provide a free legal clinic. Pro bono attorneys work with staff and volunteer interpreters to give consultation and legal advice around family law, immigration law, landlord-tenant disputes, employment law, and other areas. Uses volunteer attorneys to assist income-eligible individuals with advice in the areas of family law, landlord tenant law, consumer law, will and estate and employment law. Provides advocacy and individual legal representation to farmworkers and their families to ensure that they are afforded a full range of legal protections.

Provides free legal assistance for low-income individuals who would otherwise be denied access to the legal system because of the inability to pay. Potential clients are screened to determine income and case eligibility. Referrals are made to local attorneys who volunteer their time. Provides legal assistance with the following: Family Law (includes family law class to anyone who is seeking help in having their family law court documents reviewed), Debtor-Creditor, Bankruptcy, Social Security/ Disability, Wills/Power of Attorneys, Guardianship, Landlord/Tenant, Child Support, Immigration, and Protection Order. * Does not assist with: Criminal matters (of any kind including traffic infractions), Termination of Parental Rights, or Adoptions.

Legal Counsel for Youth and Children (LCYC)'s Youth Homelessness Program provides free civil legal services for youth and young adults between ages 12-24 who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability.

Operates a toll-free centralized intake, advice and referral service for seniors (age 60+) seeking legal assistance with civil legal problems outside of King County. Screens callers for income eligibility and type of legal problem. If it's not a problem CLEAR Sr can help with, they will try to refer the caller to somewhere that can help. Callers should be encouraged to gather documents and paperwork before calling the CLEAR Sr line.

Hosts a legal clinic specifically designed to address the needs of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and couples. This clinic is run by QLaw Foundation in partnership with the King County Bar Association. The clinic is open to everyone regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. At the clinic, an attorney will meet with clients for 30 minutes and provide individualized legal advice and information. Clinic attorneys will answer questions and provide information in a variety of areas including family law, immigration, debt and bankruptcy, divorce/dissolution, employment discrimination, and transgender legal issues.

Drop-in clinic provides legal advice and referrals to anyone in need.

Offers legal representation for issues that affect large numbers of women or set legal precedents in the Pacific Northwest. Kitsap Legal Services works with volunteer attorneys who will give legal advice and limited assistance to low-income Kitsap County residents.. All legal consultations are by appointment only and potential clients must go through the eligibility process. Currently, most legal appointments are occurring by phone or Zoom. There is often a waiting period of several weeks for an appointment and we typically CANNOT provide an attorney to go with you to court. If you are facing eviction, and you meet eligibility requirements, we may be able to provide an attorney to immediately represent you.

Provides a free elder law clinic for residents of King County. Provides a free half-hour of advice.    Examples of issues presented are   -  Health directives -  Power-of-attorneys -  Wills Some frequently asked questions include: "What should I put in my will?" "Can I legally place my father in a nursing home? "Is my will legal in the state of Washington?" and "Can you help me understand the complexities of WA Apple Health (Medicaid) and estate planning?"   Program is offered in partnership with the King County Bar Association and Senior Rights Assistance through Sound Generations.

Provides comprehensive services for homeless youth and young adults, including:   -  Hot meals -  Restrooms and showers -  Laundry -  Lockers -  Clothing -  Hygiene items - Respite beds - Access to computers - Device charging - Mail services for clients without permanent address - Harm Reduction Vending Machine provided by King County Public Health   -  Programming offered periodically by staff or third party agencies -  Onsite free Health Clinic facilitated by Kaiser Permanente - Onsite mental health therapists and substance use counselors facilitated by Ryther. - Support with referrals to Case Management, Housing Navigation, Employment and Education services provided by YouthCare. - Serves as a heating/cooling center for clients during adverse weather conditions. - Support in obtaining identification documentation - Bus tickets handed out in exchange for chores.

Provides civil legal services with advice and possible representation for legal and social service issues, including domestic violence victims, family law issues, landlord/tenant issues, consumer law, public benefits, and civil rights. Assistance with short-term evictions is limited.

LAW Advocates provides legal assistance on a wide-range of topics to low-income people in Whatcom County.  Services are provided through a variety of legal clinics and programs, as well as by placing cases with volunteer attorneys.  We do not provide assistance with criminal law matters.

Coordinates civil legal aid with the help of licensed attorneys and skilled staff in the categories of vacation of criminal record, eviction prevention, protection orders / trauma-informed family law, divorce, custody, support, general legal aid, guardianship and wills, and landlord/tenant issues from the perspective of the tenant. Offers a bi-weekly Civil Tribal Legal Clinic addressing family law, landlord/tenant, wills and estate planning, contracts, and homeownership. Offers a weekly Drop-In Clinic at the Cowlitz County Hall of Justice, and a bi-weekly general civil legal clinic. Offers a bi-weekly legal clinic at Cowlitz Family Health Center. Also provides free legal forms to the public for different civil legal issues.
