Provides once-in-a-lifetime financial assistance for food, medicine or utilities. Can also help pay veterinarian bills for service dogs. Only for individuals who are blind. Does not help with rent or move-in assistance.
Animal Services offered at Auburn Valley Humane Society
Assists with the adoption of cats and dogs. Returns lost pets to owners. Accepts lost animals as well as pet surrenders. Operates a monthly pet food pantry. Pays up to $500 in vet bills. Provides temporary housing and care for owned pets.
Emergency Pet Food Bank and Vital Veterinary Care Resources offered at Pongo Fund
Pet food bank that provides dog and/or cat food and vital veterinary care for family pets, including dental, digital x-ray, flea medication, laboratory, pharmacy, spay/neuter, surgical, and more.
Provides financial assistance grants so pet caregivers can care for animals who need urgent veterinary care and to offset the cost of pet boarding while a client is in a domestic violence shelter.
Medical Cost Assistance offered at PAWS of Bremerton
Helps low-income residents of Kitsap and North Mason Counties get basic health care for their pets at a very substantial discount. Appointment availability is limited, may not be able to help with urgent needs.
Locator for veterinary services, pet food pantry, supplies, pet services such as boarding, co-housing shelters, pet care for seniors, transportation support, and behavioral help. Locator also lists pop-up events such as vaccine clinics.
Low-Cost Spay and Neuter offered at The Humane Society for Tacoma & Pierce County
Provides spay and neuter financial assistance for low income Pierce County and Federal Way residents. Pet owners must apply through the shelter by completing an application. Call for an application, or download one from the website.
Financial Assistance for Pet Care offered by Seattle Humane
Provides limited assistance for people facing barriers in accessing housing due to a pet deposit fee or pet rent. Assists families needing help with lifesaving or life-extending treatment for a sick or injured pet.
Senior Owner Program offered at Concern for Animals
Offers up to $300 in veterinary care to low-income seniors. Program covers cats, dogs, non-exotic small mammals, reptiles, and birds. Can provide help with up to two pets per year. Must be working with a partner vet. Apply before the appointment.
Pet Medical Care Assistance offered at Concern for Animals
Qualified pet owners receive financial assistance for pet medical care at a veterinary partner clinic currently accepting vouchers. Cannot be applied for outstanding bills, prescription refills, flea treatment or annual wellness exams.
Senior Emergency Pet Care Assistance offered at Budkis Fund
VETERINARIAN MUST CONTACT: Helps low income seniors within the Puget Sound community whose pets need emergency veterinary care which may include surgical procedures and euthanasia.
