Pays for pre-approved emergency veterinary care for people who are homeless and for veterans who are part of the HUD-VASH program.

Application process

Call. Must conduct an interview with case manager to pre-determine eligibility. Once screened and approved, Feeding Pets of the Homeless will coordinate an initial exam. After the exam, the veterinarian will recommend a course of treatment to Feeding Pets of the Homeless. Will pay for pre-approved treatment per Feeding Pets of the Homeless non-profit emergency guidelines.

Helps feed and provide basic emergency veterinary care to pets of homeless people nationwide. Also provides crates to emergency shelters to allow pets to be with their owners.
