Application process
Senior must make initial visit to veterinarian for an examination and then request that the veterinarian contact the Budkis Fund to apply for funding to pay for treatment. Client and veterinarian will fill out paperwork, and then the case will be presented to a committee to be considered for funding.

Eligibility
Seniors ages 62 and older. Senior and pet must live together. Senior must live independently of children/grandchildren. Pet must be in need of emergency care which may include euthanasia, but not life support or long-term care. *Please direct potential clients to fill out an application. Approval is not guaranteed.
