Pre-trial Diversion: Under the criminal code for the city of Seattle, selected non-violent criminal charges may be eligible for pre-trial diversion.
Personal Recognizance Screening: Conducts in-custody interviews with any person booked on Seattle Municipal Court charges and not bailed out of jail by bond or bail. The interview is used to ascertain eligibility for personal recognizance release (dependent on the person's ties in the community).

Responsible for providing juvenile detention, probation, and court services.
Responsible for providing juvenile detention, probation, and court services. All criminal cases involving children who are at least eight and not yet 18 years of age are referred to the Juvenile Center to be screened and scheduled for court hearings or diversion.
Youth may be brought to detention by law enforcement when arrested for a crime or on a warrant. Each juvenile offender is assigned a probation counselor who works with the youth and their family to make sure that court orders are followed and to provide treatment and other services designed to reduce recidivism.

Supervises and monitors all adult felony offenders that are placed on community supervision.

General individual counseling is available to offenders for personal and practical matters. Clients are referred to mental health counseling or sexual deviation counseling.
