The court judge presides over: - Civil and traffic infractions - Criminal misdemeanors - Gross misdemeanors   The court provides related services, including:   - Free legal representation for indigent persons - Court Support Service Supervision   - Public defense screener services - DVMRT classes - Port of Seattle contract for Municipal Court Services - Resource Center

Application process

Call for information.   To apply for a Public Defender, fill out an application.

Fee

Payment for infractions may be made with check, credit card or money order. Credit Card payment has a service fee.

Eligibility

All those who commit misdemeanors or gross misdemeanors within the city limits of SeaTac.

SeaTac Municipal Court

SeaTac Municipal Court is of limited jurisdiction. The court judge presides over civil and traffic infractions, criminal misdemeanors, gross misdemeanors and civil orders of protection for victims of domestic violence, anti-harassment orders, sexual protection orders, vulnerable adult protection orders, and other civil orders for protection. A Resource Center is open to the public on the second Wednesday of every month, from 8:30am-11am, and the third Wednesday of every month, from 1pm-3pm.
