Additionally the Tacoma Day preschool is combined with Washington State ECEAP. The preschool program is aligned with Washington State K through 12 WA kids using: Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies GOLD assessment and ASQ, a parent driven developmental tool.
These tools allow teachers and parents to work together to individualize program for their child.
If a preschool child has an IEP the child can be bused to and from their Tacoma School District partial day program and combine with Tacoma Day Preschool for a full day.
School children are served by Tacoma Public Schools District 10. are transported to Bryant, Grant, Edna Travis and Impact schools
Tacoma Day actively participates in Early Achievers, the quality rating system of Washington State. Breakfast, lunch, and snack are provided at no additional cost and meet CACFP standards.

The Early Childhood Services at OlyCAP are focused on addressing the needs of families with children age five and younger. Preschool, early childhood development, child care and family support services are offered at sites throughout Clallam and Jefferson counties. Children enrolled receive a developmental screening, an individualized learning plan, at least two meals each day and an active learning experience on days they attend the center.
