Pro Bono attorneys provide free consultations regarding family law issues to low-income residents of Snohomish County who meet financial guidelines. Advice can be obtained regarding family law matters. Representation for court/hearings cannot be guaranteed, although many cases are referred to attorneys for additional services.

Offers legal assistance with Becoming a Citizen, Family Petitions, Getting a Green Card, DACA Renewal, Asylum, and Special Visas. Free or low cost, based on income. These services are provided via Kitsap Immigrant Assistance Center (KIAC) but JCIRA provides an office in Port Townsend where these services can be obtained. Grants up to $500 can be provided to families or individuals who need assistance with immigration-related legal fees or family emergencies, such as medical bills, rent, or other immediate needs. Applications are accepted for immigration related legal costs or bonds, as well as family expenses like rent, food, medical, educational or similar expenses. Normally, up to 2 $500 grants can be awarded per year. Priority goes to residents or workers on the Olympic Peninsula, or families affected by immigration-related detention, such as those held at NW Detention Center in Tacoma. Funds are typically approved within one week and received within about 10 days of application.

Deals specifically with class-action lawsuits with a special focus on employment cases for the farm workers; does not handle individual cases. Provides legal representation for eligible clients in a variety of arenas including advice and education, court proceeding, class action litigation, rule-making before administrative agencies and legislative advocacy. CLS is part of the Alliance for Equal Justice, a coalition of legal services providers.
