Assistance with problems on private wells and community systems. License water system designers. Investigate all cases of environmentally spread communicable disease. Investigate animal bites for rabies control. Offer advice for eradication of rodents and insects. Investigate Lyme disease and Hantavirus.
Restaurant Inspection Records offered at Yakima Health District
Allows community members to file a complaint or review complaints.
Accepts and, where possible, attempt to resolve complaints regarding the licensing, cleanliness, truth in menu, unethical or improper conduct of personnel or other inappropriate business practices of eating establishments. Provides restaurant inspection reports available by the Yakima Health District upon request. Those interested in a record, there are three ways to obtain it. 1) Visit the Environmental Help Desk: if you want printed information, you will be required to fill out the Release of Public Records form for a small charge per copy. If you want to receive verbal information or view the computer system, there is no charge. 2) Download the Release of Public Records form from the website, fax it to (509) 575-7894, records will be sent by fax. 3) Call the Help Desk and receive verbal information over the phone.
