Provides environmental health services, such as restaurant inspections, solid waste facility monitoring and licensing, septic tank permits, sewage system inspections, well digging permits, nuisance investigations, pool and spa permits, recycling, and land use reviews. It also provides information on mold, rodents, and air quality. The Clark County Public Health Complaint Line is available for public health concerns.

Services provided include maternal and child health (including support and services for children with special needs), prevention services, birth and death certificates, food handler testing and cards, tuberculosis testing, and case management. Works with community providers and laboratories to identify, prevent transmission of, and provide direct services related to infectious diseases.
