Lions Clubs help low income residents obtain eyeglasses and vision exams.  Can help arrange for seeing eye dogs, coordinate with Sightlife and a local physician for cornea transplants and eye tissue organ donations. Eligibility is determined on an individual basis. When funds are low, priority is given to youth.

The Lion's Club helps low income residents obtain eyeglasses, vision exams, and hearing aids.  They can arrange for seeing eye dogs, coordinate with the NW Lions Foundation, and a local physician for organ donations. They can also provide information and referrals.  Eligibility is determined on an individual basis. When funds are low, priority is given to youth.  They also participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters.

Provides general medical care for children, adults, and seniors. Services include pediatrics, medical care for adults & seniors, women's health, prenatal care, Neighborhood Connections (health care for homeless), vision Care (Sunnyside location only), behavioral health, pharmacy (Yakima and Sunnyside locations), and offers diabetes education and support.

Provides eye and hearing screenings, eyeglasses, and hearing aids to those in need. Donations of used eyeglasses and hearing aids are accepted by the Northwest Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center (Olympia, WA) or any Lions Club, which are sorted, cleaned, and prepared for distribution within the community.

Provides free eye examinations and glasses for qualified low-income persons who complete an application and can meet the income requirements.

Provides vision services with special emphasis on treatment of common diseases that affect the eye including diabetes, glaucoma, and cataracts.

Provides vision screening for persons needing glasses and seeking help for  payment through the Lions Club.  Also collects used eyeglasses andand distributes overseas.

Operates a vision clinic for adults and children. Services include: -  Eye examinations   -  Contact lenses -  Dry eye management and care -  Surgery co-management -  Referrals for specialty care

Offers primary health care, including routine check-ups, immunizations, screening tests, preventive care, evaluation, and treatment. Also provides personal counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Provides a wide range of health services, including primary care, inpatient, pediatrics, OBG/YN, public health, behavioral health, dental services, mental health, optometry, and internal medicine.

Offers comprehensive primary health care for families including the following: -  Evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses -  Preventive health care -  Psychiatric consultations -  Hearing and vision screenings -  Well-child exams and immunizations -  Pregnancy tests, prenatal care and family planning Also offers minor surgical procedures, public health nursing and patient education. Special services include a teen pregnancy service. Refers patients to mental health care.

A weekly eye clinic, run by volunteer opticians and optometrists from September through June, provides comprehensive eye exams and a pair of glasses once per year to those in need.

Complete vision examinations and glasses, when needed, for Thurston, Lewis, Mason and some Grays Harbor County residents living below 200% of Federal poverty level and having no vision insurance.  Clinic operates Monday and Tuesday evenings by appointment.

Provides vision screenings and a vision store with adaptive devices to maximize the use of the remaining vision. Also provides referrals to other helpful resources.

Offers a vision clinic once per year, in partnership with Kaiser Permanente. Services provided may include vision exams, screenings, and glasses.

Provides free eyeglasses and will help pay for surgeries and other vision-related assistance to residents who otherwise can not afford or pay for their vision needs.

Offers services for the Low Vision Community in the Puget Sound region. Services include Low Vision Rehabilitation Services, Low Vision Clinic, and Low Vision Store. Rehabilitation Services: Instructors provide in home training on a variety of daily living tasks for people with low vision and blindness. Tasks may include appliance use, medication management, telephone and smart phone use, and reading and writing. Lighthouse Orientation and Mobility Instructors assist people in meeting their mobility and independent travel goals, such as traveling around their home and neighborhood and using bus or paratransit services. Empowers people with low vision and blindness to be as independent as possible. Lighthouse Low Vision Clinic: Offers functional vision assessments by an optometrist who is specifically trained in mitigating the effects of vision loss and maximizing functional vision. Following the low vision exam, occupational therapists continue working with patients to train and ensure they are comfortable using the aids and techniques prescribed. Low Vision Store: Offers low vision products that help people live as independently as possible.
