Ensures the safety and health of Pierce County residents through ongoing monitoring, surveillance, enforcement, education about the environment, and chronic disease prevention. Investigates environmental issues related to ground and surface water, septic systems and hazardous/infectious waste.

Operates, plans, and constructs city water, sewer, storm, streets and traffic, transportation systems, and parks and recreation in the Town of Almira.

Provides information about public water systems, food safety at food establishments, public pool/spa inspections and permits, complaints about environmental health and safety in schools.

Provides environmental health services, such as restaurant inspections, solid waste facility monitoring and licensing, septic tank permits, sewage system inspections, well digging permits, nuisance investigations, pool and spa permits, recycling, and land use reviews. It also provides information on mold, rodents, and air quality. The Clark County Public Health Complaint Line is available for public health concerns.

Provides various environmental health services, including septic system permits, water testing, and food worker cards.

This department provides water service, tests water quality, provides information on water treatment units and cross connection control/backflow protection devices, assists in detecting and identifying leaks in your water system, and provides tips to manage high and low pressure water problems.
