Chief Health Strategist provides leadership for prevention regarding public health issues and Health Equity in Pierce County. Offers public health services for individuals, communities, and businesses, including: - water, restaurant, waste disposal, and septic system inspection; - monitoring and responding to outbreaks of communicable diseases, including TB, Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, sexually transmitted diseases, and others; - substance abuse counseling, - health counseling for prenatal clients and parents of children in the home; - health education and general health information and referral.
