Volunteer and Donation Opportunities offered at Spokane Humane Society
Volunteer positions include working in the clinic, foster care, outreach, working at the front desk and court-ordered community service are welcome to apply. Always in need of donations for dog, cat, puppy or kitten food, toys, towels, cleaning supplies, office supplies, and other care items for the shelter and animals in our care.
Diversion Program offered at Catholic Charities Serving Central WA in Wenatchee
Provides a community-based program with the goal to reduce the number of individuals with mental illness that are currently incarcerated pending a forensic evaluation at Eastern or Western State Hospital.
Community Supervision (Probation Services) offered by King County Superior Court's Juvenile Court
Directly assists the court and those juveniles that have committed offenses ages 10-17; initiates court actions, supervises probation, provides counseling and job placement.
Community Corrections Programs offered by King County Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention
Coordinates alternatives to serving time in jail for eligible inmates. Also assists those who are court-ordered to perform community service find a site to complete their hours of service.
