Services include emergency food and sundries (non-food household needs such as soap) and referrals to other service agencies when needed. Donations are accepted in person, by mail, or through PayPal on our website, bremertonfoodline.org. All donations are used for programs for persons in need residing in the greater Bremerton School District area.

Emergency Services offered at St Vincent Center in Union Gap
Donates clothing every three months and houseware assistance (dishes, cook ware, utensils, etc) twice a year. Also hands out gently used and new coats from KNDO'S Coats for Kid's campaign.

However, just as quickly as items are received, they are given away to those in need. Through the store, UGM is able to help people who come off the streets in need of a blanket or sleeping bag. Provides household goods to those who have relocated or been separated from their families, or lost their material goods through a fire or other emergencies. Helps shelter guests with furniture and other household items as they move on, into their own apartment or home. The store is unable to operate without the generous donations of individuals, families, and businesses. If you have useable furniture or other household items (pots, pans, dishes, towels, bedding, etc.).Our driver will call you to schedule a time for pickup.

Offers clothing, furniture/beds, household items, food, rent/utilities assistance, prescription medication assistance, and other expenses on a case-by-case basis. Callers are referred to the St. Vincent de Paul volunteers in their area who may do a home visit to determine need. Financial services are provided through a vouchering system. Not all services are offered in all areas.

Partners with 11 local Catholic churches that provide assistance to those residing in their zip code.
Assistance is limited but can include funding for emergency basic needs such as rental deposits, utilities, gas vouchers, food vouchers, and more.
Those in need contact their closest SVdP Catholic Parish, email the SVdP Help Line, or visit the Community Resource Center Mon, located at 4009 South 56th, next to the Thrift Store.
Can provide assistance up to every three months for gas vouchers and food vouchers unless other extreme circumstances arise.
St. Vincent de Paul's Mission Outreach Program includes the Homeless Prevention & Basic Needs Program and Centro Rendu - assists Latinos and immigrants. All programs operate out of the Community Resource Center located next to the Thrift Store.
The Community Resource Center does not provide direct rental assistance.
Provides a bag of supplies to women who have recently attained housing from homelessness; must be referred by a housing case manager.
Provides welcome home kits to women who have transitioned from being homeless to being housed and MUST be referred by a housing case manager. Each kit contains a selection of new essential care products and household items to help them get settled in their new home, such as the following:
- Cleaning items
- Toilet paper
- Paper towels
- Kitchen utensils
- Bedding items
- Assortment of full-size personal care items
For women with children, toys and books are included in the kits when available.
Participants also receive various supportive program materials and access to free monthly skill-building and health and wellness workshops and classes, available to each participant for one full year.
Also provides referrals to furniture assistance through a partner agency.
