Provides welcome home kits to women who have transitioned from being homeless to being housed and MUST be referred by a housing case manager. Each kit contains a selection of new essential care products and household items to help them get settled in their new home, such as the following: - Cleaning items - Toilet paper - Paper towels - Kitchen utensils - Bedding items - Assortment of full-size personal care items For women with children, toys and books are included in the kits when available. Participants also receive various supportive program materials and access to free monthly skill-building and health and wellness workshops and classes, available to each participant for one full year. Also provides referrals to furniture assistance through a partner agency.
