The Veterans Resource Center provides critical services and support to our service members, veterans and their families as we assist with their transition from the military to higher education and the use of their VA Educational Benefits.

The HUD-VASH program to help homeless veterans and their immediate families to find and maintain affordable, safe, and permanent housing in the community.
Mobilization and Deployment Program - MOB/DEP offered at Community Service - Joint Base Lewis-McChord
Offers personal and family readiness training (Family Care Plans). Provides individual and unit pre-deployment, rear detachment, reunion and reintegration training. Hosts Children and Deployment workshops and offers Care Team training.
Exceptional Family Member Program - EFMP offered at Community Service - Joint Base Lewis-McChord - Welcome Center
Offers support and assistance for Service members and Family members with special needs. This may include referral to: community resources and assistance; education; training and recreational activities; and more.
Financial Readiness Program - FRP offered at Community Service - Joint Base Lewis-McChord
Provides budget development, education and guidance to help Service members and their families achieve personal financial readiness. Offers classes on financial planning, money management, credit, insurance, and consumer rights.
Food and Hygiene offered at Regional Veterans Service Center
Provides emergency food vouchers and hygiene assistance to honorably discharged Veterans, their families, and widows pursuant to the laws of the State of Washington.
Community Information Services - CIS offered at Army Community Service - Joint Base Lewis-McChord - Welcome Center
Conducts assessments with individuals and families; provides assistance and referrals to the appropriate program or agency. Maintains an extensive resource file of local public, private and voluntary service agencies and organizations.
Military and Family Life Counselor Program - MFLC offered at Community Service - Joint Base Lewis-McChord
Supplements existing Family program to support service members and their families. Provides confidential short term, situational and problem-solving counseling services.

Offers counseling for individuals and families. This service is for *military* - active duty, dependent, and retired only. This center serves Bremerton, Bangor, and Keyport bases.
Stevens County Veterans Info Line offered at US Department of Veterans Affairs
When available, volunteers staff this line and provide information and referral services for a wide variety of veteran programs and services. When volunteers are not available, an automated response system forwards callers to selected veteran service providers. Callers may also leave a message and expect a response with two business days.
