Lending of Materials: King County Library System (KCLS) has over 4 million items, 60+ online databases, government documents and reference material, and multilingual resources.   Offers Inter-Library Loans through reciprocal use agreements with several other county library systems.   Material loans can also be procured from libraries throughout the U. S. and in other countries. Programs and Exhibits:   Free programs include musical and dramatic performances, programs relating to job search and writing skills, book groups, investments, parenting and much more. Other activities include author visits and computer classes.   Speakers are available for presentations on a variety of topics relating to library services.   Young Adult and Children's Services:   Specially trained librarians select material and develop programs for children and teenagers.  Offers story times, puppet shows, family nights, classes, summer reading program and video gaming programs for teens.   Offers specialized children's and teen pages on the website.   Complete, current schedule of story times is also available on the website or call the Answer Line at (425) 462-9600.   The Answer Line:  Provides quick answers (calls are limited to 5 minutes) to questions over the telephone.   Subjects include loaned items fines, directory assistance, grammar inquiries and questions pertaining to business, the arts, medicine, government, sports, hard-to-find homework questions and current events.   If unable to answer the question, the line will refer callers to other resources.   Staff can also renew and reserve library materials.   Computer Access:   Offers access to the Internet via branch terminals.   Locations may also offer opportunities to use other software for resumes, newsletters and spreadsheets, as well as hardware such as printers and scanners.   Provides educational software for children.   Voter registration forms are available at all community libraries.   Services available may vary slightly from branch to branch.   Please call for more details and to verify programs.   Printed materials may be available by request in Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Marathi, Punjabi, Persian, Polish, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. Offers a computer lab with 15 workstations with the Windows XP operating system and Microsoft Office. Offers basic computer and Internet classes, drop-in Internet access.

Drop-in center for people living with HIV/AIDS. Services include hot breakfasts and lunches, access to phones, a mail drop, computers with internet access, TV, VCR, clothing, shower, and hygiene supplies. Clients have access to washer, dryer, massage, acupuncture, foot care, and haircuts by signup. Recreational activities include art therapy, games, and other activities. Our Daily Bread Express program delivers meals directly to those who are homebound with HIV.

Offers services to assist community members in getting back to a place of financial self-sufficiency. Asset building services include Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) assistance and FDIC Money Smart Financial Education classes. One-on-one counseling is also available for credit health assessments, business plans, debt reduction, and accessing free credit reports. Also offers tax preparation assistance and computer access for self-filers.

A community neighborhood environment with community-oriented education programming such as:  - First Aid/CPR/HIV -  Basic Disaster Preparedness -  Earthquake Home Retrofit -  A variety of additional arts and culture programs. As well a venue for artists to share their work .

Career information and job search assistance is available through individual counseling and workshops.  Career information includes self-assessment and career opportunities. Job Search assistance includes information on applications, interviews, and resume/letter writing.  The Resource Room has a Career Information Library, Job Search Videos, computers, several computer assisted programs, and Internet access for job searches.

Provides public library services for Burlington area residents. The Burlington Public Library is a department of the city government.  To apply for a library card and check out materials from the library bring 2 forms of ID, one picture ID and one with an address, and complete an application.  Library cards are free to people who live or own businesses within Burlington City Limits. No Library card necessary to use materials in the library, work on the computer, use the Internet, or attend events and storytimes.

A community hub where individuals and families can attend programs and workshops, access community resources, connect with others, and receive information and referrals. Services include: fax, copies, printing, free Wifi, public computer access, tele-health kiosk, vaccines, senior services, Head Start, community meals, DSHS and other application support, a health fair on the 3rd Saturday in May 10am-2pm, Trick Or Treat Resource Fair 5-7pm Oct 31st, notary public and more.

Provides a safe and supervised after school center for children ages 5 and older, to help keep them off the streets. All children are welcome, regardless of home school district; there is no fee to parents.

Provides Resource Navigation to support individual's and family's immediate and future areas of need as well as setting goals for a more sustainable future. Offers a variety of resources to help connect, provide, or work one-on-one to access items like basic utility support, rental assistance (City of Monroe and City of Snohomish only) transportation resources, employment, legal, and more. Loans library materials, including:   -  Books and magazines -  Newspapers -  CDs, DVDs and videos -  Books on CD,  and other materials -  Mobile Wi-Fi hotspots.   Provides public access to a variety of computer resources, including:   -  Internet -  Word processing -  Printers -  Searchable online databases   Offers story times, children's programming, teen activities and adult book discussion groups among its many services.   Among all locations of The Seattle Public Library, 400 programs are offered per month, as publicized on the Library website calendar.   Delivers reading materials to:   -  Nursing homes and retirement homes -  Facilities for children and adults with mental, physical or emotional disabilities -  Day care centers -  Senior centers   Home service is set up on a regularly-scheduled basis for homebound individuals with an illness of six months duration or longer.   Books-by-mail service is available for people who meet the criteria for home service. These services are available in Seattle only. Libraries may also be visited to escape heat or cold during extreme weather during the day.

Offers drop-in day services for homeless and low-income women; no children.   Provides laundry facilities, toilets and showers, for use through a drop-in sign-up system. Distributes free hygiene items.  -  Showers contain one larger stall for women with disabilities. Offers mental health counseling, usually four days per week, and Health Care for the Homeless nursing services at varying times Monday through Friday.   Provides use of telephones and computers with internet access.   Offers daily meals from morning to afternoon.   Offers information and referral to other services.
