Serves as the official record keeper for the Superior Court.  It is our mission to serve the courts and the citizens of Pacific County in a manner best suited to provide quality, efficient, and effective service.  The position of County Clerk is best characterized as the administrative and financial officer of the Superior Court. The County Clerk’s purpose is to ensure the separation of powers among the three branches of government by preserving the integrity of the judiciary. Those three branches are Executive, Judicial and Legislative.

Provides basic government services, such as pet licenses, permits, planning, street maintenance and utilities.   Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the city’s water, sewer and storm drainage systems as well as street and park maintenance.   Building permit requirements and applications are listed on the city's website.

Offers basic government services for city of Auburn residents, including business permits.

Provides an elected official that is responsible for documents and records of Skagit County.

Provides basic government services for the city of Snoqualmie, including Police, Fire, Communications, Emergency Management, Building, Community Development, Planning and Public Works Departments. Residents can apply for building permits or pay city utility bills online.

Offers basic services for residents of the city of Duvall, including water, sewer, building control, business and pet licenses, billing, utility and building and sewer permits.

Provides staff and support to the Thurston County Superior Court. Court staff can provide: - the status of a specific case, unless the case is "confidential,"; - general information on court rules, procedures and practices; - court-approved forms; - court schedules and information on how to get matters scheduled. Staff cannot: - provide advice about whether one should file a case, or what actions they should take in the case; - words to put in a form; - advise anyone on what to say in court; - speculate about what decision the judge might make or what sentence the judge might impose.

Provides basic city services to residents of Sammamish.   The Building Department issues permits or sets of permits for most construction projects.   Other residential permits offered are for hot water heater or furnace replacements, fireplace inserts and residential decks.

Operates, plans, and constructs city water, sewer, storm, streets & traffic, transportation systems, and parks & recreation for the city of Moxee.

Provides information and referral regarding city services.

Operates, plans, and constructs city water, sewer, electric, storm, streets and traffic, transportation systems, and parks and recreation in the town of Coulee Dam.

Provides information and administrative services for the Town of Wilbur.

Provides administration services and information for the city of Ellensburg.

Oversees and directs all finance functions; including budgeting, accounting, debt management, financial planning, accounts payable, customer services, records management, and information services.

Provides several services relating to elections: - registering voters; - candidates file at this office; - designs, prints and distributes ballots and voter pamphlets; - processes absentee ballots; - tabulates ballots; - reports results and certifies elections. Also performs signature verification checks on initiatives, referendums and petitions.

Offers city services such as building permits, construction and electrical inspection, disaster preparedness training programs and volunteer opportunities.    Federal Way City Hall is a Passport Acceptance Facility and assists with and accepts passport applications.

The Clerk's Office replies to requests for information. Court staff can provide: The status of a specific case, unless the case (or information in the case) is "confidential" (not available for public inspection because of state law or a judge’s decision). The court file on a specific case, (unless the case is "confidential,") for review. Printed general information on court rules, procedures and practices. Court-approved forms (forms are not available for all legal proceedings). Guidance on how to compute deadlines and due dates. Court schedules and information on how to get matters scheduled. The Superior Court Facilitator can help clients with filing of paperwork on Domestic and Custody cases. Court staff cannot provide: Advice about whether someone should file a case or whether they should take any particular action in a case. Information or what words to put in a form. Speculation about what decision the judge might make or what sentence the judge might impose. Comment about specific persons you may name in a petition or pleading. Change an order signed by a judge.
