Provides a variety of health services, activities and trips to seniors in the area.   Free and low cost health services for seniors include:  - health screenings for diabetes,    - blood pressure screenings,    - cardiovascular screenings,    - skin cancer screening,    - foot care clinics and,  - a medical supply lending closet.   Other supports include things like:  - free hair cuts,    - free trips to local grocery stores  - caregiver kits,  - and trips to fun events throughout Puget Sound.

IVC connects neighbors facing challenges related to aging, disability, or adversity with volunteers and resources to support independent and fulfilling lives. With the help of our caring volunteers, IVC provides help with transportation, errands and shopping, meal preparation, chores, respite care, companionship, and cultural and recreational activities.  IVC primarily serves Bainbridge Island residents though surrounding areas sometimes are served.  Island Volunteer Caregivers meets needs not filled by local agencies and provides free services for older adults and persons with limitations.

VS provides assistance to those who cannot afford to pay for the kinds of services we provide, do not qualify for assistance elsewhere, or do not have family and friends to help them.  This program of CCS uses volunteers to provide a variety of services to low income seniors or disabled people over 18.  Our volunteers provide services such as yard care, transportation, shopping, minor home repair, errands and more.  This agency may be able to assist in installing handicapped devices including ramps and grab bars.  Clients must be living independently in their homes.  Services are subject to availability of volunteers. Cannot assist those living in assisted living facilities. Transportation is primarily for medical appointments, shopping and errands. Out of area transportation such as Seattle, Bremerton, Bainbridge Island, Port Townsend is possible, but is based on the availability of a volunteer.

Provides 24-hour crisis phone line provides immediate assistance, information and emotional support. The crisis information and referral line is available to anyone affected by sexual assault/abuse, whether it’s recent or in the past. In addition, services are also available to family members and friends of victims.  Advocates are carefully screened and fully trained to assist victims, families and the community with accurate information, confidential crisis intervention, and advocacy through medical and legal procedures.

Today, volunteers are an integral part of the staff. They work with Memorial employees to enhance the service and hospitality given to patients, families and visitors.

The Caregiver Support Center offers an opportunity for unpaid caregivers in Kitsap County to meet with a case manager to learn about what type of support is available to them and discover print and online support materials of interest, at no cost. The case manager, with the Family Caregiver Support Program can assist unpaid caregivers with exploring programs and services that best suit their needs and provide referrals to appropriate programs. Based on each caregiver's situation and availability of services, the program may also provide no-cost, limited in-home respite care (a break for the caregiver), counseling, home delivered meals, training, help with power of attorney forms, and purchase small assistive equipment.

The Dungeness Valley Health and Wellness Clinic is a place where professional health care volunteers provide affordable, quality, compassionate basic medical care to the uninsured and underinsured in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley.  Services include basic care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses, prescription writing, assistance with the PAP process for higher cost medicine from drug companies.  Other services not provided are referred to medical specialists, dentists, labs and x-ray services.

Provides a broad spectrum of high quality health care services, with special concern for the poor and oppressed. Provides emergency room and level III trauma care; dialysis treatment; family birth center; rehabilitation for illness, surgery, injury, heart attack, or stroke; cardiology (24/7 emergency treatment of heart attacks) sleep disorders center; wellness classes, adult volunteer opportunities, and home health services.

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County offers Grief and Bereavement programs including one on one support, support groups, and practical workshops on living alone after the death of a loved one. Trained volunteers offer a gentle, safe, caring and non-judgmental environment, either in one on one sessions or in a group to accompany and support the grieving person onto their healing journey.

Jefferson County Medical Advocacy and Services Headquarters (JC MASH) facilitates access to primary medical care and prescriptions for low-income, uninsured, underinsured Jefferson County residents by providing free medical needs assessment, guidance, advocacy, and referrals to appropriate care.  Services are offered in Port Townsendand.

Offers volunteer opportunities welcoming patients to the building to serving in the Resource Center, Ralph R. Peterson Library, or other areas of the Center. Visitors and staff alike appreciate their friendly faces.

Provides supplies to people who use injection drugs and offers a one-to-one exchange for clean needles. Other services include rapid Hepatitis C and HIV testing, safer sex supplies, PReP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and health insurance navigation, overdose prevention training, naloxone kit distribution, and referrals to community resources. Volunteers provide patients and their families the same kind of support a good friend would offer, such as running errands, providing a break for family caregivers, sharing information, and just listening. Also offers vigil services to individuals during the last hour of their life; volunteers stay with a patient at their bedside so that they do not have to be alone when death is imminent. This service may be at the request of the patient, a family member that needs a break, a member of the hospice team, or a family member that lives out of town and cannot be with their loved one.

Assists low-income elders and adults with disabilities who do not qualify for similar service programs, and who do not have family and friends to help them.  Clients must be living independently in the home and in need of basic home and personal maintenance so they can continue living safely in their homes.  Services are subject to availability of volunteers.  Assistance that may be available from volunteer workers may include services such as:   - Yard care may include mowing lawn, raking leaves, or removing snow from walkways  - Light housework and laundry  - Transportation to doctors appointments, grocery stores, food banks, and other essential errands  - Minor home repairs including minor electrical work, minor plumbing (leaking fixtures).   No services related to roofs due to liability issues.  - Errand running and shopping  - Installing handicapped devices including ramps and grab bars.  Cannot help with the purchase of constructions materials or devices.  *This service cannot help with more extensive needs such as: replacing roofs, installing windows, painting, replacement or patching of walls or flooring, cleaning gutters, relocation, moving, or removal of garbage.
