Provides access to services that will reduce energy usage for qualifying low-income residents of Tacoma, including insulation and furnace repair.
Provides weatherization services to income qualified residents (owner occupied or renters) in the City of Tacoma.
Weatherization services include:
- Assessment of the homes insulation value,
- heat/cooling loss,
- Health & Safety (moisture, ventilation, carbon monoxide detectors) and
- test all gas appliances for safe operation.
Also providing Minor Home Repairs like:
- roof leaks,
- plumbing leaks,
- replacement of windows.
Weatherization helps give the peace of mind that a home is safe, healthier, comfortable and more energy efficient.
Housing Weatherization offered at Olympic Community Action Programs - Port Angeles
Provides weatherization services for individuals at 200% of federal poverty level. May replace refrigerators that are not energy efficient. Cannot assist with RV repairs or emergency funding.
This program provides weatherization services for individuals. Services provided may include:

- Health and Safety Issues

- Combustion Safety Testing

Minor Home Repair Program offered by City of Tukwila at Human Services Office
Provides and promotes the repair and maintenance of housing for low-to-moderate income residents of the city of Tukwila.
Provides and promotes the repair and maintenance of housing for low-to-moderate income residents of the city of Tukwila.
Housing repair services will focus on maintaining the safety and health of the occupants; preserving the dwelling and/or conserving energy.
Services include, but are not limited to:
Electrical:
- faulty lights, switches, plugs, circuits or exhaust fans
Plumbing:
- faulty toilets, clogged drains, leaking faucets, faulty water heaters
Disability Aids:
- installation of grab bars, hand rails, hand held showerheads, bath seats, access ramps, and application of non-skid surfaces
Safety:
- installation of smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and locksets
Other:
- faulty furnaces, faulty gutters and roof leaks, broken window glass panes
Home Repair offered by City of Auburn at Community Services
Offers grants for minor and emergency home repairs including plumbing, electrical, roofing, furnace repair and more.
Offers grants for minor and emergency home repairs to low-income homeowners. City hires local contractors and vendors to perform repairs on behalf of the homeowner.
Repairs may include the following types:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Roofing
- Disabled access
- Furnace service
Furnace Repair and Replacement offered at Opportunity Council - Whatcom County
Provides furnace repair and replacement to owner occupied homes who are LIHEAP eligible.
Provides furnace repair and replacement to owner occupied homes in Whatcom, Island, and San Juan counties that are LIHEAP eligible. Projects are coordinated by staff at Opportunity Council and use qualified area contractors to complete the work. Typical work includes repairing or replacing air handlers, baseboards, wall heaters, furnaces, and venting systems. Please note that we do not offer duct cleaning. Determining whether a project is a repair or replacement is at the discretion of program staff and contractors. Interested homeowners should contact the energy line for more information.

Weatherization and Related Minor Home Repair offered at Kitsap Community Resources
Offers home weatherization assistance to income eligible residents. Service includes an energy audit and then improvements which may include repairs to roofs, heating systems, insulation, and health/safety concerns.
KCR assists income-eligible families, disabled and senior citizens by first doing an energy audit, then making home improvements, followed by energy education. Qualifying homes may receive help weatherizing their homes. Home Weatherization services are available free of charge to low-income residents, both homeowners and renters. Services that help save energy and money may include: Repair of Roofs, Heating Systems, and Water Heaters. Insulation of Attics, Water Pipes, Ducts, Underfloor, and Wall/rim joists. Health and Safety Improvements such as, Air Quality and Carbon Monoxide, and Electrical Hazards. Everyone benefits from weatherization because it: Lowers future costs of energy by conserving energy, thereby reducing the need to create new energy generation sources. Preserves homes affordable to low-income families. Improves health and safety of homes. Reduces energy usage and a home's carbon footprint. Improves the local economy by creating jobs and supporting business through the purchase of weatherization materials.
LIHEAP Energy Assistance offered at South Puget Intertribal Planning Agency - Mason
Provides financial assistance to assist low-income eligible Native American households meet energy costs.
Through outreach activities assist low-income eligible households to meet their energy costs, particularly households paying a high proportion of household income for energy.
