Weatherization Assistance Program offered at Metropolitan Development Council Housing Services

Provides weatherization services to income qualified residents (owner occupied or renters) in the City of Tacoma. Weatherization services include: - Assessment of the homes insulation value, - heat/cooling loss, - Health & Safety (moisture, ventilation, carbon monoxide detectors) and - test all gas appliances for safe operation. Also providing Minor Home Repairs like: - roof leaks, - plumbing leaks, - replacement of windows. Weatherization helps give the peace of mind that a home is safe, healthier, comfortable and more energy efficient.

Eligibility

City of Tacoma resident. Below 200% Family Poverty Level or 60% State Median Income Depending on program, residents need to be under 200% of Federal Poverty Level or 60% of Area Median Income. A household of: - 1 is at or below $2,023 and $2,289 monthly - 2 is at or below $2,743 and $2,994 monthly - 3 is at or below $3,463 and $3,698 monthly - 4 is at or below $4,183 and $4,403 monthly - 5 is at or below $4,903 and $5,107 monthly - 6 is at or below $5,623 and $5,811 monthly.
