Dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for all rural Oregonians through innovation and leadership services, education, and research assistance to certified Rural Health Clinics and Critical Access Hospitals throughout Oregon and helps in the accreditation process to those rural clinics that would like to join.

Provides high-quality mental healthcare services accessible to all post-9/11 (including National Guard and Reserves), active-duty service members and their families regardless of discharge status, combat experience or the ability to pay. We serve a wide range of military connected family members including spouses, partners, children, parents, caregivers and other family members as identified by the veteran or service member. Our care is short term (on average 8-12 session for individuals) and can treat those with mild to moderate symptoms related to mental health challenges such as transition, child behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustment related issues, sleep related issues, and couple/family challenges or stressors.

Provides culturally competent healthcare for individuals and families who lack access to basic health services.   Offers the following services: -  Wellness Exams and Screening: blood pressure, physical examinations, diabetes checks, heart health -  Education and Prevention: helps to decrease health disparities in the future and to emphasize the importance of preventive medicine -  Referral and Follow Up: ensures that patients can be adequately connected to preexisting continuity care clinics throughout King County

Provides technical assistance for new programs and applications, increases exposure to Telehealth as a healthcare delivery tool, improves access to specialty care through regional collaboration, develops information on best practices and Telehealth toolkits, and provides information and facilitates discussion of regional regulatory, policy, and reimbursement issues.

Provides access to consultations with health care specialists through a robust video-conferencing network of more than 100 units throughout the Northwest. This technology facilitates live, confidential interaction for two or more locations involved in patient consults, rural medicine, health education, medical training, business administration and other related activities.

Provides treatment via web camera, phone or app for a variety of minor illnesses such as asthma, back pain, pink eye, sore throat, seasonal allergies and flu.  Virtual visits should not replace a relationship with a primary care provider. Prescribes medications including antibiotics when indicated, allergy medications, anti-nausea medications, and various skin creams or ointments. UW Medicine Virtual Clinic providers will not prescribe or refill medications for the treatment of a psychiatric condition, and they will not prescribe controlled substances, including medications such as: -  Narcotic medications (i.e. Oxycodone, Vicodin, Percocet, Codeine) -  Anti-anxiety medications (i.e. Xanax, Valium, Ativan, Klonopin) Visits typically last about 20 minutes.
