A program that provides visits from specially trained nurses for women who are having their first baby. Nurses are able to visit at home or another location that works for the client throughout their pregnancy and up until the child turns the age of 2.

First and second-time moms are partnered with a registered nurse early in their pregnancy and receive ongoing nurse home visits through their child’s second birthday. Nurses provide health and developmental screenings to identify potential problems with growth, hearing, social-emotional development, oral health, and other issues. Nurses also offer breastfeeding support, parenting support, and general parenting education.

Maternity Support Services and Infant Case Management are preventive health and education services to support healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. Specially trained Community Health Nurses visit families in their home throughout the pregnancy and continue to visit until the child is 2 years old. Offers universal home nursing/home visiting program. Provides preventative health and education services to help a woman to have a healthy baby. Includes helping families learn about and how to use needed medical, social, educational and other resources in the community so the baby and family can thrive. Also offers weekly support with a virtual and in-person Baby Lounge - a place for all families with babies to connect and learn together as parents. Groups are facilitated by a health professional. There are child care stipends available, and refreshments are provided.
