Nurse Family Partnership offered at Clark County Public Health
First and second-time moms are partnered with a registered nurse early in their pregnancy and receive ongoing nurse home visits through their child’s second birthday. Nurses provide health and developmental screenings to identify potential problems with growth, hearing, social-emotional development, oral health, and other issues. Nurses also offer breastfeeding support, parenting support, and general parenting education.

Call for information and to schedule an appointment; must enroll prior to the 28th week of pregnancy.

Eligibility
Pregnant with a first child or with a subsequent child and less than 29 weeks gestation with a household income below 185% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Services provided include maternal and child health (including support and services for children with special needs), prevention services, birth and death certificates, food handler testing and cards, tuberculosis testing, and case management. Works with community providers and laboratories to identify, prevent transmission of, and provide direct services related to infectious diseases.
