Utilizes the peer support model, an evidence based practice, for building hope, empowerment and social connection.

Provides assistive devices and technology for patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) who have difficulty communicating with their families and caregivers.   Loans assistive technology such as specialized communication devices and laptop computers that are outfitted for communication needs.

Provides a resource and service center which includes an ASL/deaf culture resource library, special equipment store, public video phone, internet/computer access, and hosts events, workshops, presentations, and a monthly legal clinic. Also offers a variety of services through their community programs, including deaf senior citizen social groups, education and training, business meetings, ASL classes, craft classes, workshops, and case management which includes advocacy, communication assistance, peer counseling, and housing assistance.

Provides telephone and signaling devices for people who are deaf, deaf-blind, hard-of-hearing, late deafened and speech disabled. Devices include telecommunications equipment (TTYs, amplified telephones, telebraille, etc. ) and signaling alert devices.

Provides free public videophone use for Deaf and hard of hearing individuals. Videophones are used to connect with Video Relay Service and Video Remote Interpreting, or to make calls directly to other Deaf individuals or sign language users. Offers training for individuals or businesses on how to acquire and use videophones.
