Responsible for providing juvenile detention, probation, and court services.
Responsible for providing juvenile detention, probation, and court services. All criminal cases involving children who are at least eight and not yet 18 years of age are referred to the Juvenile Center to be screened and scheduled for court hearings or diversion.
Youth may be brought to detention by law enforcement when arrested for a crime or on a warrant. Each juvenile offender is assigned a probation counselor who works with the youth and their family to make sure that court orders are followed and to provide treatment and other services designed to reduce recidivism.
Juvenile Center staff assist parents and school officials with truancy and at-risk youth petitions.

Youth Services Center offered by King County Department of Adult And Juvenile Detention's Youth Services Division
Provides a youth detention center, including medical and mental health assessments, evaluation for special needs and appropriate placement in detention.
Provides a detention center for those who have committed juvenile offenses. A juvenile with an adjudicated offense may be confined for up to 30 days on a court order.
A juvenile facing an alleged offense may also be held if a secure setting is needed to guarantee public safety or the youth's presence while their case moves forward.
Offers services for youth in detention, including medical and mental health assessments, evaluation for special needs and appropriate placement in detention. Seattle Public Schools provide teachers and a regular curriculum, including special education. On-site library staffed by librarians from King County Library System is available, as well as regularly scheduled church services, on-site NA and AA meetings, and an anger management program.
Also provides Alternatives to Secure Detention which match the level of restriction to a youth's level of risk to self and public safety. ASD program is comprised of Electronic Monitoring and Weekend Reporting.
Group home beds are also available as placement options.

Juvenile Probation Officers meet with offender and parents, assure knowledge of their legal rights, and assist them in obtaining legal representation.

Provides services to the youth who has been referred to the juvenile court system.
Provides Juvenile court services for offender and non-offender youth. Non-offender youth are those involved in dependency, youth at risk and truancy cases. Juvenile probation serves youth placed on probation through court.
Juvenile detention services are provided for juveniles ordered to serve detention time or juveniles awaiting court that have been arrested or detained on a warrant from the offender or non-offender court.

Provides probation, detention, diagnostic evaluation, diversion, guardian ad litems, outpatient drug and alcohol treatments, prevention services for at-risk youth and truancy services for youth and families.

Juvenile Detention offered at Clallam County Juvenile & Family Services
Provides a secure detention facility for youth in Clallam County.
The detention facility is a secured facility. Juveniles are admitted either by court ordered or meet intake screening criteria. While youth are in custody the detention facility are responsible for food, clothing, medical care, education (including drug, alcohol, and mental health screening and referrals), recreation, religious, and counseling opportunities and necessary resources for other specific needs. Operates on a level system which ties expectation with behavior. Youth move up or down the level system based on their attitude, behavior, cooperation and interaction with staff and other detained youths. Higher levels allow the youths more time out of their rooms in the later afternoon, evenings and weekends and supervised work and/or school release.
Remann Hall offered at Pierce County Juvenile Court
A extensive county government facility that has numerous programs to serve youth who have been victims of crimes, are dependent on the county, and especially those who have broken criminal law.
Houses incarcerated juvenile offenders and handles in court child abuse victims, truants, and at risk youth.
Offers information and referral, and services include medical care, a diversion program for minor offenders, an extensive volunteer program, and a speaker's bureau.
Offers sex offender treatment, probation diversion, detention, and guardian ad litem services for dependent children who have committed an offense.
Youth Services offered at King County Department of Adult & Juvenile Detention's Judge Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center
Provides rehabilitation services to youth housed in the detention facility. Youth are detained when they are convicted of serious or violent crimes or if they are high risk offenders. Coordinates visitation and phone calls.
Offers services, programs, and activities for youth while they are in detention. Youths receive medical, substance abuse, and behavioral health treatment through an on-site clinic.
All youths in custody have the opportunity to study standard school curriculum through Seattle Public Schools’ Interagency Academy. Special Education curriculum is available if needed. Tutoring is also available. Youths may also work towards their GED.
