Provides emergency shelter for one and two parent families with minors or pregnant women.
Provides emergency shelter for one and two parent families with minors or pregnant people. Shelter guests receive access to basic needs, including food and personal hygiene items, as well as laundry facilities, computers, and family services. Case management supports goals to become independent, including employment, financial skills, education, parenting, and access to community resources.
Safe Parking Program offered by Catholic Community Services - Family Housing Network
Providing safe parking for individuals and families for up to 20 cars (no RV's). Program lasts 90 days, provides access to services like showers, laundry, case management, etc. Must have driver's license, vehicle ownership, pass a background check. Call to be screened.
Provides a place where people who have no other option, or prefer staying in their vehicle, to locate and be reasonably secure from outside danger or from being asked to move by property owners or law enforcement.
Offers a safe parking area that is fenced and spacious, allowing for distance between vehicles as well as the ability to separate families and childless households.
Security is on site at all times to reinforce safety at the site.
Allows access to the Rectory building on the campus, which provides bathrooms, laundry, a kitchen, as well as private meeting space and office space.
Collaborates with other programs of CCS. Families using the safe parking site would have use of the Family Housing Network Day Center for use of the facility and Coordinated Entry and case management services. Veterans using safe parking would be assigned an SSVF case manager that could work with them on site and enroll them in rapid rehousing services. They would have access to a benefits specialist and connected to a HUD-VASH case manager at the VA as needed.

Provides an area for individuals living in their vehicles to have a safe and organized place to stay. On-site restrooms, portable handwashing stations, trash services, and shelf-stable food are available.

At this time, RV's are unable to be served (motor homes and trailers)
Guests can stay up to 30 days. 30 day extensions are available on a case-by-case basis.
When staying in one of the parking locations, it is expected that guests will:
- follow all CDC/COVID-19 guidelines
- follow all laws when in or around the site
- not engage in any predatory behavior at or around the site (ex: drug dealing)
- not possess, use or consume drugs or alcohol on the site
- will only store the family's personal belongings within the vehicle
- keep the vehicle in the assigned space
- will not bring any illegal weapons onto the site, or brandish or threaten anyone
- will stay out of others residents' area or belongings
- will dispose of trash in the provided containers
- keep their site clean
- no visitors when staying at the site.
