Safe Park offered by City of Vancouver at Homeward Bound Safe Park

Provides an area for individuals living in their vehicles to have a safe and organized place to stay. Services include restrooms, portable handwashing stations, trash services, and shelf-stable food. Participants must follow a Code of Conduct which may include but is not limited to; the check-in/check-out process, personal hygiene, site maintenance, alcohol and drug use, and other prohibited behaviors.

Hours

Site hours: 24 hours per day / 7 days per week. Intake: 7 days per week, 8am-5:30pm.

Application process

- Call or email for information. - Participants must sign and adhere to a Code of Conduct at registration to receive a placard for their vehicle. - If site is at maximum capacity, a spot must become available before another participant can enter. - There may be a waitlist.

None.

Eligibility

Homeless adults age 18 and older and families with children. Pets allowed. - RVs and trailers are permitted. - Only two adults allowed per vehicle; however, there is no limit on children within said vehicle. - All potential clients are subject to a background check. - No sex offenders allowed.
