Agency acts as a clearinghouse for food distribution to community food pantries. Maintains a toll-free number to coordinate donation and distribution of food across the state.

Receives, processes, and distributes food, including USDA government commodities, to 20 community food banks (the Snohomish County Food Bank Coalition) and Snohomish County feeding programs.

Provides Commodities for all residents (tribal and non-tribal who qualify) living within the following tribal boundaries: Cowlitz, Jamestown S'klallam, Lower Elwha Klallam, Muckleshoot, Nooksack, Puyallup, Samish, Sauk-Suiattle, Shoalwater Bay, Snoqualmie, Stillaguamish, Suquamish, Swinomish, Tulalip, and Upper Skagit. Service is delivered on a monthly basis. During the holidays, the program may also offer additional items like spices, hams, laundry detergent and toilet paper.

Serves as the primary food distributor to 75+ food pantries, meal sites, and shelters in Pierce County. Provides Pierce County with a consistent, diverse, and nutritious food supply so that no person goes hungry, distributes more than 13 million pounds of food each year from their Distribution Center in Lakewood and 8-acre farm in the Puyallup Valley. Provides information on all of the meal sites and food pantries that receive food from Emergency Food Network.

Receives millions of pounds of food from agencies and programs. All donated food is distributed to partner agencies where families can go directly to receive food. Also offers home delivery for people who cannot attend food distribution events in person.

Distributes food to 9 local food banks.   These include food banks in Chehalis, Onalaska, Pe Ell, Mineral, Toledo, Morton and Winlock-Vader.

Lopez Fresh offers produce, dairy products and other perishables every day underneath the LIFRC’s outdoor stairs.
