Recording deeds and other legal instruments, licensing vehicles and vessels, issuing  marriage licenses and  dog licenses, supervising elections, registering voters, accounts payable for the county, including payroll.

Provides various community services, such as food pantry, COVID-19 testing, tutoring services for students K-12, ESL, basic computer skills classes, small business training and technical assistance, youth organizing (voting registration and civic engagement), and activities for kids.

Administers elections in Thurston County. Accepts voter applications, as well as changes in a voter's information. Compiles voter registration guides, and sends out the ballots. Counts the returned ballots and posts the election results.
