Provides eye and hearing screenings, eyeglasses, and hearing aids. Donations of used eyeglasses and hearing aids are accepted by the Northwest Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center (Olympia, WA) or any Lions Club, which are sorted, cleaned, and prepared for distribution within the community.

Helps low income residents receive new hearing aids.  The Lions Club works in conjunction with local providers and the Starkey Foundation to provide new hearing aids for a low co-pay of $50.

Offers donated hearing aids to those who would not be able to afford the expense of purchasing hearing aids and maintaining their devices.

Helps low-income individuals in getting one behind the ear hearing aid.

We collect used eye glasses and hearing aids to refurbish and redistribute to the needy. Hearing aids are distributed through the Northwest Lions Eye and Ear Foundation in the Pacific Northwest.  Eye glasses are distributed outside of the U.S.

The Lion's Club helps low income residents obtain eyeglasses, vision exams, and hearing aids.  They can arrange for seeing eye dogs, coordinate with the NW Lions Foundation, and a local physician for organ donations. They can also provide information and referrals.  Eligibility is determined on an individual basis. When funds are low, priority is given to youth.  They also participate in a vast variety of projects important to their communities. These projects range from cleaning up local parks to providing supplies to victims of natural disasters.
