Provides one-time emergency assistance funds for undocumented immigrants in Benton-Franklin Counties who are dealing with emergencies, like severe illness, loss of a job, accidents, etc., and because of their legal status, do not qualify for other state or federal programs. If applicant is approved, a check in the amount of $250-$400 will be mailed.

Provides financial assistance to Washington residents due to disaster who are not eligible for other cash assistance programs. Must be income-eligible for TANF. Active for Spokane, Pend Oreille and Whitman through Sept. 29, 2023.
Offer cash benefits to people who are not eligible for other cash assistance programs who have been affected by a disaster.
Eligible households will receive their benefits for one month in a 12-month period during an emergency.
The benefit amount depends on household size, income and need, ranging from a maximum of $417 for a single person to a maximum of $1,539 for a household of 10 or more people.
Once approved, people will receive their benefits on an existing Electronic Benefit Transfer, or EBT, card or a new EBT card will be sent via U. S. Mail.
