Provides a curbside bulk collection service available to Solid Waste Management residential customers living in a single family home or duplex. Available by appointment twice a year. Picks up large, unusable household items.

Picks up large, unusable household items that are not part of the weekly garbage collection.
Also provides an option for commercial pick-up for a nominal fee.
A self-haul option is available to those who would rather drop off their load of garbage at the Tacoma Recovery and Transfer Center.
Accepted items (up to 3 large items):
- Appliances,
- Barbecues (no propane tanks),
- Carpet,
- Furniture,
- non-working electronics (except computers/monitors/TV's),
- power yard equipment (remove oil/gas, no riding mowers),
- recreation/exercise equipment,
OR up to 15 boxes and bags of smaller household items such as vacuum cleaners, strollers, lawn chairs, clothing and toys.
Unaccepted items:
- vehicles or vehicle parts,
- building equipment (concrete, sheet rock, insulation)
- glass or glass-top tables,
- hazardous materials/waste,
- liquids,
- tires or yard waste.
