Each center is different, but they usually offer exercise classes, arts classes and serve as a place for coalitions and neighborhood groups to meet. Contact the local center to find what is available, and for information on facility use/rentals. Some examples of services include: Senior Programs Offers a series of courses, including arts and crafts, cardio, yoga, weight training, dancing and more, that are targeted towards adults aged fifty and older. Adult Sports Offers many sports available throughout the year. Includes some at the local community centers as well as area parks and sports facilities. Youth Offers sports, summer/holiday camps, Scout Adventures, and services to families that are homeschooling.

A community hub where individuals and parents with children can attend programs and workshops, access community resources, connect with others, and receive information and referrals. Services vary by location but may include use of the phone, use of the fax, access to applications for subsidized apartments, assistance applying for government programs such as TANF and EBT, and use of the computer work stations. Clients are not able to use the resource center as a mailing address. Some financial assistance is available dependent upon funding and eligibility requirements.

Kitsap County Parks Department offers facility rentals at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds, three community buildings, picnic shelters, park facilities, and athletic fields.

Spartan Recreation Center is the main community center operated by the City of Shoreline. It is a full service community center, offering a full-size gymnasium, weight and fitness machine room and multi-purpose classrooms, locker room and shower facilities on site. A kitchen facility is available for classes, rentals or other special events.
