Latinos Unidos en Acción ALIANZA (L.U.N.A.A) is a comprehensive youth/ young adults engagement program that provides guidance, representation, academic scholarships and mentorship to equip students to achieve their full potential academically, in professional careers and in their personal life. Can assist students with mentorship, applications for WAFSA/FAFSA, workshops and Loteria game nights, and “Healing Together” Support for Latinx/ First generation students. Alianza offers workshops for understanding gender and sexuality in English and Spanish for parents and family whos loved ones identiify as LGBTQ+, book clubs with a focus on LATINX & LGBTQ+ stories and characters, and peer support for LGBTQ+ youth and adults.
