Week 1: 6/25-6/27 Disney Week $160 Disney may only be a short week but Wow! It is going to be jam-packed with Fun and an unforgettable experience! We are talking seriously awesome exploration and amazing moments with a field trip to Funko Pop Headquarters.
Week 2: 6/30-7/3 Horticulture Week $180 This week the kids will learn the science and art of growing flowers, fruits, vegetables, and ornamental plants. We will be getting outdoors and going to the Botanical Gardens and on a hike.
Week 3: 7/7-7/11 Engineering Week $240 Experience Engineering camp to the fullest by engaging in building, designing, learning, creating, and critical thinking. We will end this fun week with a field trip to the Pacific Science Center.
Week 4: 7/14-7/18 Video Game Week $240 Take a trip with Mario, Sonic, Pikachu, and Pac Man as they adventure through races, challenges, & nerf fun to name a few. They will end the week with a field trip to the Family Fun Center.
Week 5: 7/21-7/25 Christmas in July Week $250 Christmas is a wonderful time of year to enjoy fun &festivities with Christmas movies, carols, and a visit from jolly Old Saint Nicholas. Shopping is also a big part of the season, and we will get to end the week with a field trip to the mall.
Week 6: 7/28-8/1 Story Adventure Week $240 Let's take a journey through story telling. Get ready for a whirlwind of imagination and adventure as the kids create their own story. The kids will get to take a midweek field trip to the Library and end the week at the Museum of Illusion.
Week 7: 8/4- 8/8 Sports Week $240 Just as simple as a racing board game, the kids will simply have fun with piñata making, a scavenger hunt, &more. They will also end the week with a field trip to the mall.
Week 8: 8/11-8/15 Circus Week $220 Welcome to the Circus where there will be fun and games! This week the kids will be doing a scavenger hunt, visit the Kelsie Creek Farm, have a mid-week Carnival, and a field trip to the zoo.
Week 9: 8/18-8/22 Music Week $230 All things Music Children will discover the world of music in all its forms & end the week with a field trip to the Mo POP museum.
Week 10: 8/25-8/29 True North Week $250 Join us for Vacation Bible School where the kids will learn about "Trusting Jesus in a Wild World". We will end the week with a field trip to Wild Waves Water Park.

Offers summer day camps for children with various disabilities entering grades K-6 and 5-7.
Kent Parks offers an inclusive day camp for children with disabilities as part of our Camp WALKAPALA day camp program. WALKAPALA Too is led by Adaptive Recreation Program Coordinator Lara Castillo and space is extremely limited; campers must be entering grades 4-6 in Fall 2025 (currently in grades 3-5).
WALKAPALA Too offers a safe, memorable, and entertaining experience full of friends and fun. Each day is filled with a variety of sports, games, arts and crafts, songs, and activities to keep campers active and engaged all summer long. Fees include all camp activities, field trip admission fees, afternoon snack, and one camp t-shirt per child for the summer. Kent School District offers a free lunch daily or you may send a sack lunch with your child. All field trips are subject to change. The first week of camp is also subject to change, based on the last day of school for Kent School District.
