Once enrolled, a client works with an advocate to choose a curriculum that fits their needs and interests.  Clients earn "Baby Bucks" while they learn how to be better parents.   There are programs available in financial planning, relationship building and communications tools. Available resources includes: layettes, diapers, wipes, clothing - sizes infant to 2T,  car seats, cribs and baby furniture.

Reproductive Healthcare Services Offers contraception, breast, cervical and colon cancer screening, STI testing/treatment, and menopause hormone replacement therapy or symptom management. Treats menstrual disorders (heavy periods, painful periods, irregular periods, abnormal uterine bleeding) and acute concerns of the breast or pelvic organs. Pregnancy & Postpartum Care Provides prenatal care with a team of Midwives and Family Practice providers. Services include routine prenatal visits, preparing for birth and staying up to date on important pregnancy immunizations, screenings and post-partum follow up. First Steps Helps meet the medical and social service needs of pregnant women covered by Medicaid. Registered nurses, registered dietitians, behavioral health specialists, community health workers, and infant case managers teach and support women throughout their pregnancy and up to two months post-partum. Offers infant case management until the baby’s first birthday by providing parents with information and linkage to community resources such as medical, social, educational, and environmental services.

Thriving Heart is an educational resource that coaches the next parenting generation through life-skill classes, focus groups, and workshops with an emphasis on building relationship through community.

Offers programs that help parents to deal constructively and consistently with a broad spectrum of child rearing problems which may include sibling rivalry; school behavior and performance; poor self-esteem; shyness; drug use; sexual promiscuity; and the whole range of negative, acting-out behaviors including whining, temper tantrums, disobedience, insolence and destructiveness. Some parenting skills development programs utilize a step-by-step approach for managing specific problems and may incorporate application at home of techniques that were discussed and practiced in the classroom setting. Other programs may offer participatory family workshops which provide opportunities for parents and children to learn and practice methods for dealing with one another under the guidance of a trained facilitator. Maternity Support Services (Part of First Steps): Helps people have healthy pregnancies and recover from pregnancy. Coordinates support until the baby is two months old, and provides breast/chestfeeding support by: - Health education and counseling. - Regular visits in the clinic, by phone or video, or in the client’s home or community setting. - Support beyond the doctor or midwife, including nurses, nutritionists, social workers and community health workers. - Referrals to OB care, WIC, health insurance and other community resources. Infant Case Management (Part of First Steps): - Provides support and guidance from the time the baby is 2-3 months old through baby’s first birthday (for those who qualify). - Helps clients become self-sufficient in gaining access to medical, social, educational and other services they might need. Nurse Family Partnership: Public health nurses provide care coordination services through home or community visits or on the telephone - Partners pregnant people with registered nurses from pregnancy through their child’s 2nd birthday - Delivers the support first-time parents need to have a healthy pregnancy, a healthy birth, and a healthy infancy for the baby. Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs: Public health nurses provide care coordination services through home or community visits or on the telephone. Services include: - Developmental screenings and assessments - Help with concerns such as feeding, nutrition, growth, development and behavior. - Help connect CYSHCN families to the health and related services they need to thrive. Family Ways: - Provides culturally relevant peer support for three community groups: Native American/Alaska Natives, Pacific Islander/Native Hawaiian, and U.S. born Black/African Americans from pregnancy through age 5. - Supports clients with pregnancy, parenting, community-connections and resource navigation - Registered Dietitian, Social Worker, and Public Health Nurse available for consultation and coaching

Maternal Health Services provides community-based programs and services focused on providing preventive health and education for growing families throughout Central Washington. With a staff dedicated to giving families a healthy, hopeful start in life, Maternal Health Services offers programs in genetic counseling, maternity support services, maternal child health home visiting and coordination of regional perinatal improvement programs.
