If an adoption is contested, or answers to legal questions are sought, parties may independently search for an attorney as adoption services does not offer legal advice or recommend specific attorneys.

Facilitates open adoptions, which allow for some form of association among birth parents, adoptive parents and adoptees. Offers unbiased counseling for pregnant women/couples.
Provides free, confidential, pro-choice counseling to pregnant or parenting individuals in a supportive and non-biased atmosphere. Counselors empower clients to explore all of their options: parenting, abortion and adoption. Provides community resources and referrals for clients who choose parenting or abortion. If their choice is adoption, they choose, meet and create a relationship with adoptive parents that is similar to extended family. Open adoptions include ongoing visits and lifelong services. Counselors are available to respond to urgent situations.
PREPARES: Pregnancy and Parenting Support offered at Catholic Charities Serving Central WA in Tri-Cities
Offers families on-going support and encouragement in the most difficult times and addresses essential needs to develops supportive, nurturing relationships to walk the journey with young families in need.
Offers families on-going support and encouragement in the most difficult times and addresses essential needs to develops supportive, nurturing relationships to walk the journey with young families in need. Provides the following services: Young Mom's Support Groups; Family Companion, which is an opportunity for a pregnant or parenting family to be matched with a trained family companion volunteer who gives the family ongoing support and encouragement; and Parent Education Groups, which helps children grow and prepare for kindergarten through these free, facilitated play groups available to children from birth to age 5, and their caregivers.
