Veterinary Clinic offered at Catholic Charities Serving Eastern Washington
Offering basic services such as physical examinations, vaccinations, deworming, and treatment of minor conditions for pets of homeless and low-income clients. Pets are seen on an appointment only basis. Appointments may be made by sending a message to our email address or via our Facebook page (@VeterinaryClinicatDHH). Clinic is open on the first three Wednesdays of each month.
Pet Policy: 2 per client, spaying and neutering is encouraged for all pets. We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone who is breeding their animal or refuses to spay or neuter.
Catholic Charities has generously given us space in which to provide this service. Please be respectful to the staff of Catholic Charities and to the residents of Jacklin Haven and Donna Hanson Haven, the nearby apartment complexes.
Hot Meal and Groceries offered at Transform Burien Outreach Center
Serves a hot meal to anyone in need; also provides non-perishable food. Case manager available onsite, mobile medical and veterinary vans once per month.
Wildlife Reporting offered by Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife
Responds to public safety issues such as dangerous wildlife encounters, natural disasters, and general law enforcement calls for service. Website offers information on wildlife rehabilitation and a locator tool to contact local rehabilitators if injured wildlife is found.
Free and Low-cost Veterinary Care offered by Seattle Veterinary Outreach
Provides sliding scale veterinary services to low-income housed individuals, and free services to those who are experiencing homelessness including vaccinations, sick animal care, examinations and flea care.
Pet Medical Care Assistance offered at Concern for Animals
Qualified pet owners receive financial assistance for pet medical care at a veterinary partner clinic currently accepting vouchers. Cannot be applied for outstanding bills, prescription refills, flea treatment or annual wellness exams.
