Provides a subsidy of 25 to 70% of the city's average child care cost for eligible parents who are employed or working towards their first degree.   CCAP covers partial cost of child care paid directly to the City of Seattle contracted child care home and center providers. Eligible families will be authorized for 12 month vouchers.

Provides child care expense assistance for low-income Native American families. Works to increase availability of child care on Yakama Reservation. Assist individuals in training/education for employment with child care costs. Also works to improve the quality of child care for health, safety, well-being of Indian children and improve school readiness.

Provides child care subsidies to low-income families in need. Families receiving the subsidy pay a monthly co-payment based on income. The Seasonal Child Care program helps eligible families pay for child care while they work in agriculturally related jobs in select counties. The Homeless Child Care program authorizes four months of full-time care for eligible families as they move into and verify participation in approved activities.   Subsidies may be applied to: -  Licensed or certified child care centers -  Licensed or certified family child care homes -  Relatives who provide care in their own homes -  Adults who come to the client's home to provide care

Provides assistance for Benton and Franklin County Veterans, their families, and the families of deceased Veterans who meet the eligibility criteria for assistance. Community referrals to partner agencies for housing, case management services, VA claims and other services are given when needed. Services may include: utility assistance, rental/mortgage assistance, application fee/background checks for housing or pre-employment, up to 1 week in a motel for homeless veterans, bus passes, food vouchers, burial expenses (up to $1,000), necessary safety equipment required by employer to gain employment, dental assistance (up to $2,000), and childcare assistance.

Provides group support, childcare assistance, grocery assistance and bill payments to West African single moms in Washington State.

YMCA Child Care is a place for children to explore, learn, feel safe, cared for and celebrated. Encourage positive relationships between the children, childcare staff and parents to ensure a high-quality experience for the children.

Provides free and unbiased referrals to licensed child care programs in Washington state. Licensed child care programs typically serve children ages 0 - 8.  Provides customized child care referrals that meet the specific needs of each child.  Information about referred providers includes: -  Ages of children served -  Fee ranges -  Hours of operation -  Bus routes -  Special services   Also explains different types of child care options and works with families who have special situations, such as: -  Child care during the evening or on weekends -  Children with special needs -  Parents who are low-income and/or homeless and need help paying for child care   A child care search is also available online.

Provides high-quality, affordable, and accessible child care for Seattle families, preparing students for Kindergarten and beyond, with the goal of eliminating the racially disproportionate kindergarten readiness gap. In partnership with the City of Seattle’s Department of Education and Early Learning (DEEL), SPP helps prepare 3 and 4-year-olds for kindergarten and beyond, while offering tuition assistance, family financial assistance, and health screenings. Early learning coaches help SPP teachers provide a culturally responsive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for all students, and some classrooms offer dual language instruction.

Provides one-time emergency grants up to $250 to post 9/11 wounded servicemembers or their caregivers for assistance with basic needs. Grant money is paid directly to the person owed the debt such as a landlord or utility company whenever possible. Examples of small grants include food, utilities, housing, clothing, health expenses, assistance with child care, vehicle repairs & other routine household expenses, home & vehicle adaption, funeral expenses, adaptive equipment, moving assistance, travel, etc.

Provides assistance with applying for the following state benefits:  Basic Food (Food Stamps); Temporary Aid to Needy Families (TANF) Cash Benefits; Housing & Essential Needs (HEN) Benefits; Working Connections (Childcare); Medical applications for select groups  The DSHS Mobile Van also visits four times a year to provide in-person assistance with DSHS applications, re-certifications and other services.

Offers financial assistance to cancer patients in urgent need who are within a three-month window of treatment. Cancer patients may be eligible for a one-time grant of up to $450 to help with expenses including the following: -  Rent/mortgage -  Utilities -  Food -  Transportation -  Dental care -  Childcare -  Medical supplies - Prescription copays Financial assistance may take up to two to three months, so program is not able to assist with immediate shut-off or eviction notices.  

Provides childcare vouchers that pay a portion of childcare costs.

A child development program that provides early childhood education, social services and heath services for eligible young children and families, including help with special needs.

Provides short-term emergency assistance to help families pay for high-quality child care in a licensed child care center or licensed family home.

The Supportive Community Outreach, Programs and Engagement (SCOPE) team is a multifunctional customer service team within the Department of Community and Human Services provides centralized information and resource referrals, making it easier for residents of King County to access the services they need. The Supportive Community Outreach, Programs and Engagement aims to help residents connect to resources, navigate services, or bridge short-term financial gaps. May provide financial assistance to King County residents to help them gain or retain employment, support educational goals leading to employment, or meet basic needs, including but not limited to food, healthcare, shelter, childcare, transportation and safety. SCOPE Financial Assistance is intended for emergent or one-time situations and not intended for recurrent or regular needs. SCOPE does not provide rental assistance. Disbursement of financial assistance may take up to four weeks from the date of a customer's initial appointment.
