Information and referral regarding disabilities and community resources, newsletter, workshops, seminars and recreational/social events for families. Information provided to parents/guardians of children with a disability or chronic medical condition. Puts parents in touch with special services available to eligible children age birth to three in Thurston, Mason and Grays Harbor counties.

Provides early intervention services for children birth to 35 months of age with either 1) a developmental delay, or 2) a diagnosis that is likely to result in a developmental delay. Services are provided in: College Place, Columbia-Burbank, Dayton, Dixie, Kiona-Benton City, Prescott, Prosser, Richland, Starbuck, Touchet, Waitsburg, and Walla Walla. Early intervention team members who support the family may include the following: Family Resource Coordinator (FRC), Birth to Three Teacher, Early Intervention Specialist, Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), Physical Therapist (PT), Autism Specialist, Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI), and/or Teacher of the Deaf (TOD).

Center-based therapy program provides physical and occupational therapy and speech therapy.   In-home services may be arranged.   Services include individual therapy sessions to address specific developmental difficulties; parents are encouraged to ask questions, express concerns, and share hopes with center staff and other parents. Families work one-on-one with a Parent Coach, in the child's natural learning environment, identifying learning opportunities in daily family routines such as bath time, mealtime, or during play. Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) is the Washington State Department of Early Learning program designed to be the first point of contact for any parents concerned about the development of their children. ESIT offers free developmental screenings for infants and toddlers along with an informational meeting for parents with a Family Resources Coordinator. Once a child is screened, a Family Resources Coordinator helps each family access the Early Intervention services through a referral system and provides each family with additional community resources for support.

Helps children ages birth to three reach developmental milestones. Families are matched with a Family Resource Coordinator and a team of specialists to help parents and children in any of the following areas: nutrition and feeding, play skills, sleep, speech and language, fine and grass motor skills and behavioral and emotional development, as needed. All interventions rely on evidence-based practice and are offered in the family's home. Program uses a parent coaching model, providing regular education and support to caregivers as they navigate their child's care. Staff support the whole family's needs by providing resources and advocating for both the child and the family.

Provides pediatric physical therapy and speech therapy services for children, birth-21, in different settings, such as clinic, home, or school. Focuses on gross motor abilities, including rolling, sitting, crawling, walking, running, agility, and coordination. Treats the following conditions: gross motor delays, prematurity, torticollis, plagiocephaly, cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, neurological and genetic disorders, orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

Offers specialized clinical services for children with developmental disabilities and their families. Services include diagnosis, assessment, and management plans for various conditions.

Offers early support services for infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities. These services include physical, speech, and occupational therapies; early childhood education, infant mental health services, and more.

Provides a safety net for children involved in the child welfare system by ensuring their developmental and social-emotional needs are identified and addressed. It also strengthens relationships so that parents and caregivers can better work together for their child’s success. By supporting a child’s entire care team, CHERISH positively transforms a child’s developmental trajectory, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Offers early intervention services to meet the developmental needs of eligible infants and toddlers and the needs of their family related to enhancing the child's development.  Provides Family Resources Coordination, individualized developmental services and parent support opportunities.

Provides Autism screening for ages 18 months thru adulthood. A combination of observation, interaction, interview, and standardized screening questionnaires are used by a masters-level autism specialist to determine the likelihood of autism.

Early Intervention Services are available through referrals from many sources for children ages birth to three. We provide free developmental screenings for each referral and our Family Resources Coordinators can link you and your child with resources and programs appropriate for your child’s development. Screenings can be done over the phone, at our center or in your home.

Early intervention provides a collection of services families may need for their infants or toddlers with disabilities. Services may include helping the family find needed services for their child, helping the family understand their child’s developmental growth, and helping the family support their child’s learning and development and successful participation in home and community activities.

Program to evaluate and provide direct services to children ages three to six who have developmental delays in the areas of language, motor, cognitive, social and self-help skills.

Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, feeding therapy, special education, vision services, hearing services and family resource coordination are provided in a natural setting either at the center or in the child's childcare or home. Pre-school services.

Provides educational and therapeutic services to Mount Vernon School District’s preschool children with developmental delays. The classroom settings consist of daily routines for the development of academic, communication, fine and gross motor, social and adaptive skill building. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech/language therapy are provided in the classroom as needed.

Offers educational services to school districts staff or students.   Also offers individual and program assessments, curriculum development and counseling.   Offers home visits throughout the state if needed, usually to observe potential applicants in their home environment. Provides birth-to-three services.

The Children’s Therapy Program is a clinically based family focused program providing one-on-one and small group physical, occupational and speech-language therapy to children with special needs. Provides therapy and support to families of children with autism, apraxia, expressive and/or receptive language delays, cerebral palsy, sensory integration concerns, phonological processing delays, developmental delays, Down Syndrome, and other neurodevelopmental pediatric diagnoses.

Joya provides comprehensive developmental evaluation as well as feeding therapy and nutrition services for children from birth to age three who are not meeting age-appropriate developmental milestones or are at risk of developmental delay for any reason.
