Free and low cost health services for seniors include:
- health screenings for diabetes,
- blood pressure screenings,
- cardiovascular screenings,
- skin cancer screening,
- foot care clinics and,
- a medical supply lending closet.
Other supports include things like:
- free hair cuts,
- free trips to local grocery stores
- caregiver kits,
- and trips to fun events throughout Puget Sound.

Lions Mobile Health Screening Unit offered at Northwest Lions Foundation
Offers free screenings for vision, hearing, glaucoma, diabetes and blood pressure.
Mobile unit provides free screenings for vision, hearing, glaucoma, diabetes and blood pressure to more than 30,000 adults and schoolchildren annually.
Unit travels throughout Washington and Northern Idaho and is staffed by volunteer Lions Club members and health professionals.

Mobile Medical Van for People Living Homeless offered by Public Health in Seattle & King County
Provides drop-in medical and dental care to people who are homeless in South King County and Seattle at a mobile van. No prescription pain medication. Offers STI testing, birth control, and overdose prevention medication.

Offers drop-in primary medical care and dental care for people who are homeless. Clinics held at free meal programs, day centers, shelters and encampments and operated from medical and dental vans. A doctor or nurse provides exams and treatment.
Program does not carry narcotics or provide any prescription pain medication. Dental services focus on treating dental pain NOT preventative cleanings.
Also offers:
- STD, HIV and Hepatitis C testing, pregnancy tests and birth control
- Access to behavioral health and chemical dependency specialists. Harm reduction services including clean needles and naloxone overdose prevention kits
Can also help people connect to other community services including:
- A doctor's office that can provide follow-up care
- Behavioral health care, including counseling
- Substance use disorder counseling and treatment via a harm reduction approach
- Dental care
- Vision resources
- Enrollment into health insurance
- Referrals to shelter, food banks, legal assistance and domestic violence programs

The primary goal of the CARES Team is to improve quality of life and reduce unnecessary use of the emergency health care system by addressing a client’s needs based on the social determinants of health. Many times, Fire Department personnel encounter an individual who has significant needs apart from their physical health needs. When they encounter these situations, Fire Department EMS providers make a referral to the CARES Team requesting a follow-up visit.

Offers quality low-cost care for children and adults. Services include physical examinations, immunizations, family planning, nutrition assistance and diagnosis and treatment of common ailments, mental health counseling, pharmacy, and health education and promotion activities. Provides suboxone based opiate replacement therapy for clients with opiate use disorder as clinically appropriate.

Operates Swedish Breast Care Express, a mobile mammography van which features the latest in digital mammography equipment and a rooftop satellite system for transmitting images remotely.
This equipment allows radiologists located at the Swedish Breast Center to read a mammogram while the patient is still on board the van.
Breast Care Express van may operate in a Native American community, an intercity community clinic or a health fair, senior center, a rural area health provider or at a major regional employer.
