Olympic Medical Center (Clallam County Public Hospital District No. 2) is a comprehensive, award-winning health care provider for more than 70,000 residents of Clallam County. It has served the community since its establishment on Nov. 1, 1951, and is governed by a seven-member, publicly elected board. OMC is a sole community hospital and rural referral center. It provides inpatient services at its 67-bed acute-care facility in Port Angeles, including a level-three trauma designated emergency department, surgical services, and labor and delivery. OMC’s outpatient services include cardiac, imaging, physical therapy and rehabilitation, laboratory, sleep medicine, surgical services, home health, physician clinics and comprehensive regional cancer care at locations in Port Angeles and Sequim.

Emergency care treating a wide variety of emergency conditions.  Patients at this Mill Creek facility are taken directly to an open room, bypassing the typical triage and registration process that result in queuing and frequently long ER wait times. “Direct bedding” of patients, immediate initiation of treatment and in-room registration will improve care and eliminate wasted effort.

Offers inpatient services, including general medicine and surgery, the Northwest Regional Burn Center, Regional Epilepsy Center, UW Spine Center, UW Medicine Stroke Center, rehabilitation medicine, coronary, neurological surgery, trauma intensive care units and other units.

Forks Community Hospital provides services for The West End of Clallam County and West Jefferson County for residents of Forks, Beaver, La Push, Clallam Bay, Sekiu, Neah Bay, and The Hoh Tribal Reservation. Hospital services include emergency services, in-patient care, ambulance, surgery, imaging, laboratory, cardiopulmonary, respiratory therapy, physical rehabilitation services, Long Term Care, community health, outpatient care, social services, and wound care. Specialty services for those who are disabled, elderly, or have trouble leaving their home have limited availability.
