Offers a series of courses that provide beginning and existing farmers with the planning and decision-making tools, production skills, and support necessary to develop a sustainable small acreage farm.

Assists commercial and homesteading farmers with pest and crop recommendations, as well as diagnosis of plant and pest problems. Also offers a Master Gardener program which trains volunteers to be effective community educators in gardening and environmental stewardship.

The Washington State University Extension community horticulture program offers a Master Gardener Volunteer program training every other year and a Master Recycler/Composter training within the Master Gardener training program.

Offers a mix of programs that address agriculture, gardening, community and economic development, youth and families, and natural resource stewardship. Provides community gardening and master gardener programs, food safety and preservation education, and 4-H youth programs. Is the point agency for forestry-related issues. WSU Clark County Extension is a three-way partnership between the USDA, WSU, and the county government.
