The purpose of the drinking water program is to help ensure the safety and adequacy of drinking water, both for private and public supplies. Includes monitoring, technical assistance and inspecting community water supply, responds to complaints and inquiries, provides owners of private water systems technical assistance avout drinking water safety.

The Environmental Health Unit is responsible for regulating on-site sewage systems, solid waste facilities, illegal solid waste disposal, RV parks, individual water wells, and licensed septic professionals.

Provides information and resources for planning, administration, and enforcement of building and land use codes.
