Provides specialized transportation resource assistance, coordination, and advocacy for residents who need transportation services beyond those listed in the 2-1-1 database. Calls are generally returned within 1 business day.

Provides on call, in person and over the phone support to vulnerable youth. Works closely with existing emergency youth shelter providers including Friends of Youth, YouthCare and Cocoon House.   Current Safe Place sites include: Metro Transit buses, YMCAs of Greater Seattle and the King County Library System. Arranges transportation to and from eligible Medicaid covered medical services to anyone with a valid DSHS ProviderOne ID card, who has no other form of transportation.  The Medicaid Broker will arrange for the lowest cost, most suitable option for the client's needs.  This may include bus passes or tickets, gas vouchers, mileage reimbursement, volunteer drivers, shared rides, or a wheelchair lift-equipped vehicle.  Transportation will be arranged for trips within the local community.  Transportation outside of the local community may be available if certain criteria are met.

Provides curb-to-curb shared ride transportation using lift-equipped vans and other accessible vehicles for individuals whose disability prevents use of the regular accessible public transit bus and light rail services. Paratransit riders who have been found eligible can request trips one to seven (1-7) days in advance. Expect trips to be shared and take as long as a regular bus ride. Also expect to be picked up a little earlier or later so other rider’s trips can be added to the route. Use Access Paratransit to go anywhere within the same service area and at the same times that the regular public transit and light rail operates. Inter-county trips are available to/from neighboring counties within each county’s service areas.

Provides transportation to covered medical services for Medicaid clients. Public transportation, such as the bus, must be used before other forms of transportation. If the bus cannot be taken for mobility reasons, or if bus service is not available in a client's area, helps with other transportation such as: Gas vouchers; van/taxi (may be grouped with others); group shuttle; ferry fares; intercity bus; wheelchair accessible vehicles; and air fare/water taxi (San Juan County). After-hours transportation assistance Provides rides home from the Emergency Room when the office is closed. Medical staff must contact (360) 733-8294. All other trips must be pre-arranged.

No ambulance service is provided. Does not cover prescription pick-up.

The primary goal of this service is to assist eligible clients to covered Medicaid services with vouchers for gasoline or mileage reimbursement if they have their own vehicle. For clients that live near a bus stop, tickets/tokens or passes may be available. If that is not possible, transportation is arranged using contracted providers including volunteer drivers, nonprofit providers, cabulances, and taxi companies. Transportation must be scheduled in advance; local trips require two working days' notice, for long distance trips, five working days' notice is requested. Counties served are: Benton, Chelan, Columbia, Douglas, Franklin, Kittitas, Okanogan, Walla Walla, and Yakima. For gas vouchers or reimbursement of fuel, drivers must provide copies of a valid license, signed vehicle registration, and valid vehicle insurance. These must be valid for date of Medicaid covered doctor appointment.

Offers trained navigators who work one-on-one with Pierce County residents who are unable to access transportation. Finds transportation options such as local shuttles, volunteer driver programs, medical transportation services, transit, and more. Also helps clients navigate public transportation routes and provide suggested trip plans. Works with clients to meet a more immediate transportation need and to establish reliable, long-term transportation. Services may include - Filling out applications, - Education about available options and how they can be blended together - Access to short-term transportation Examples of transportation include medical, employment, education, food, benefits application, and errands.

Offers variable routing in some areas within King County. By using vans that can operate off regular routes to pick up and drop off passengers within a defined service area, DART service may allow residents to arrange for transit service closer to a location. DART does not go door to door. It operates on a fixed schedule, but one that has more flexibility than regular Metro Transit buses. Days and hours of service vary by route. Assists low-income VETERANS with emergency assistance with food, gas, rent, utilities, transportation, and other needs a veteran may have (make sure to read eligibility requirements).

Provides on-demand transportation to the public, connecting students, workers, seniors and those with limited mobility to and from community resources, appointments, school, work and transit hubs within the Puyallup RUNNER zone. Trips must have starting point and destination in the specified Puyallup RUNNER zone. RUNNER uses smaller, wheelchair-accessible vehicles to provide trips when and where needed, and to make it easier to reach local and regional transit options.

Provides free transportation to help passengers gain and maintain employment. This service helps passengers overcome transportation barriers for up to one year. Barriers include but are not limited to: A bus ride that takes one hour or more. Walking ¾ mile or more between the bus stop and the destination. No sidewalk access or alternative paths between the bus stop and location. Rides are provided Monday - Friday, 7:30am-5:30pm.

Provides a nutritious lunch and dessert.

Fixed commuter route offered in Northern Stevens County, Kettle Falls, Chewelah, and Republic, and Colville.

Offers rural transit services and expanded medical appointment transportation. All vehicles are equipped with lifts to ease boarding for individuals with wheelchairs or other mobility devices. Drivers are available to provide boarding assistance.

Service is available for customers who experience difficulty using regular routed service. There are no eligibility requirements. Anyone wanting the service can ride. Free service for travel within Mason County. ADA accessible

Para-Transit is a wheelchair-accessable transportation service for individuals whose disability prevents them frim using the regular fixed route buses. This means that a person must be unable, because of disability, to get to or from the bus stop, get on or off a lift or ramp equipped bus, or successfully travel by bus or form the destination. Para-Transit is available to anyone in our community that is elderly or low income that can't afford transportation to medical, dental, or social service appointments.

Provides free, non-emergency medical transportation for on-going or critical treatment that is not local. Assistance includes gas cards as well as bus, train or airfare. Additionally covers the cost of one non-medical attendant if the doctor finds it medically necessary. Commercial Airline Tickets Provides charitable, need-based commercial airline assistance for patients and one medically-necessary escort. The patient must: - Be able to sit on their own once they are in the seat. - Require little or no medical attention. - Be able to transfer out of their wheelchair into their seat on the aircraft with little or no assistance (they cannot have someone literally pick them up and sit them in the seat). - If the patient requires oxygen, some airlines may provide it during the flight. Otherwise, the patient must have a portable oxygen concentrator (POC) approved by the FAA or the airlines. Commercial airlines require no less than 48 hours advance notice to prepare for the equipment needed. The patient is responsible for making these arrangements and paying any travel fees associated with the oxygen. Ground Transportation Patients are provided with gas cards, or commercial bus or Amtrak tickets to medically related treatment. These trips are for non-local medical care more than 50 miles away. Gas cards are also available for multiple trips to local treatment.
