The Port Angeles Resource Center, fondly known as the Orville Campbell House, at First Step offers a safe place to find resources for your family. We have a free clothing and equipment closet, information and referrals, indoor and outdoor children’s play area, free diapers and formula, access to phones, computers, fax and copier, healthy snacks, free children’s books, and a Little Free Food Pantry and Fridge!

Provides maternity clothing and supplies for pregnant women and nursing mothers. Also provides baby clothing, baby blankets, sleepers, toys and children's books, as well as emergency supplies of diapers, formula, and baby food.

Provides lab quality pregnancy testing on-site with results in five minutes and verification of a positive pregnancy test. Confirmation ultrasound for qualified patients. Also provides maternity and Infant clothing and supplies (through size 2T) for anyone in need.

Offers a support program for pregnant women and families of infants and toddlers. Participating in parenting education and mentoring gives clients "credits" for baby food, formula, diapers, clothing and car seats.

Once enrolled, a client works with their parenting advocate to choose a curriculum best suited to their needs and interests. Once enrolled, a client works with her parenting advocate to choose a curriculum best suited to her needs and interests. While clients are learning, clients are Earning "Mommy Money" to spend any way they wish on maternity and baby supplies. Most curriculums are available in both English and Spanish, and our Spanish Client Services Manager is available to assist with translation when needed. The program provides clients with incentives to learn life skills as they earn "Mommy Money" to spend in our "Mommy Store" on items they need.
