Provides one-time emergency assistance funds for undocumented immigrants in Benton-Franklin Counties who are dealing with emergencies, like severe illness, loss of a job, accidents, etc., and because of their legal status, do not qualify for other state or federal programs. If applicant is approved, a check in the amount of $250-$400 will be mailed.

(Does not serve Granite Falls, Lake Stevens, Darrington).   ALL SERVICES ARE DEPENDENT UPON AVAILABILITY OF FUNDING AT THE TIME OF THE REQUEST.  Offers clothing, furniture/beds, household items, food, rent/utilities assistance, prescription medication assistance, and other expenses on a case-by-case basis. Callers are referred to the St. Vincent de Paul volunteers in their area who may do a home visit to determine need.  Financial services are provided through a vouchering system.  Not all services are offered in all areas.

Providing rental assistance to households who reside in Pierce County who can not pay their rent. Renters must have the lease in their name, and agree to case management services. Helps with up to 3 months of rent. Renters may also use this service for utilities, but it is not for utilities only. Payments are made directly to the landlord. Serves individuals and families. Total household income must be within the income guidelines. Funding is from the county and administered through agency partners.

Provides long-term rental assistance to eligible individuals in Okanogan County who have behavioral health needs and are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The program supports housing stability through rental subsidies paired with ongoing case management and support services. Participants must engage in behavioral health treatment and work with a care team. Services are intended to help clients avoid institutionalization, reduce crisis service use, and maintain stable housing.

Provides financial assistance for rent, electric/heat, water/sewer and gasoline. Also provides emergency food and hygiene supplies. Assistance to be determined upon scheduled intake.

Provides limited rent assistance to King County residents who currently owe rent. Rent assistance funds are limited and cannot be guaranteed.

Assists African diaspora immigrant and refugee households to prevent evictions by negotiating with landlords. Works directly with the Housing Justice Project, helping to interpret, translate, and navigate any cultural differences that may arise between them and immigrant clients. Also provides legal referrals.

Helps college students stay enrolled in school by offering benefits access, financial coaching, income supports, and referrals to other support services. Limited emergency financial grants available for homelessness prevention and emergencies. Students meet one-on-one with a coach to discuss college and career goals. Appointments typically last one hour, but there is no limit to the number of appointments.   Typical areas of assistance: -  Managing debt -  Signing up for ORCA LIFT, SNAP/EBT, health insurance, WIC, etc. -  Building credit & pulling credit reports -  Budgeting -  Scholarships - Tax preparation - Access to on-campus food pantry - Referrals to additional resources

The Chelan County Veteran's Assistance Fund is designed to help veterans with temporary emergency financial assistance. This may include rent assistance, fuel assistance, burial expense (veterans only), and more. The funds are available for veterans and their families; however the veteran needs to be the one to apply.

Provides rent assistance based on individual needs. Funds are paid directly to the service provider.   Also provides move-in assistance for people who are moving into or within the area served. Pays up to $250 for rent or move-in.

Rapid Re-Housing Provides short-term help for homeless Yakima residents to quickly return to stable housing. Participants may receive funds for security deposits and move-in expenses, as well as rent. Eviction Prevention Provides one-time prevention rental assistance to low-income Yakima County residents. Collaborates with Northwest Justice Project and Central Washington Legal Aid to prioritize individuals with a current eviction letter. Limitations on arrears paid and funding availability. HEN Provides essential needs items and limited financial assistance for those who are low-income and not able to work for at least 90 days due to their physical and/or mental health. DSHS determines who qualifies for referral to the HEN program. Services provided through the HEN Program may include: - Limited rent - Move-in costs - Personal health and hygiene items - Cleaning supplies - Transportation assistance

AREN payments may be made up to a maximum of $750 in a 12-month period.   - Also includes WorkFirst support services, which helps with rent, mortgage, taxes, insurance, utilities, moving costs, all housing-related fees, hookup fees, refundable and non-refundable deposits, and temporary housing for households participating in WorkFirst. Up to $5,000 is available in a 12-month period.
