Coordinates emergency shelter for families with children as well as people who are pregnant, at multiple locations across King County. Once accepted into a shelter, families will be guaranteed an ongoing nightly spot in that shelter program. Operates a self-managed overnight shelter program at up to 10-15 sites throughout Seattle, providing shelter for over 200 clients per night in the indoor shelter.
Some facilities serve only men or women; others serve both men and women, with separate sleeping areas.

Intake is usually available in Spanish as well as English; other available languages at intake vary, though clients are able to access shelter regardless of language or ability to speak.
All facilities provide mats and blankets. Many sites are wheelchair accessible and some provide shower facilities.
Clients must leave the shelters early each morning.
Individual shelters may potentially refrain from screening on days that they are full.

Connects families and individuals to emergency shelter, rental assistance, and homelessness diversion programs through coordinated entry to prevent homelessness. Assists low-income adults with disabilities who are unable to work for at least 90 days and have been approved by DSHS.

REFERRAL REQUIRED from case manager: Operates a shelter for adult women with mental illness. No children.
Operates a nightly shelter for 25 adult women with mental illness. Program offers beds, pillows, linens and blankets. Continental breakfast is provided in the morning.
DESC staff pick up clients in the evening, and return them in the morning.

Operates the coordinated entry program for Mason County. This program acts as the single entry point for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless. Arranges the initial intake, eligibility screening, and shelter placements for community housing programs, rental assistance, and other housing assistance programs.
Operates a 9-bed shelter for single women, ages 18 and older, with stays up to three months; call for screening.
Provides dormitory-style shelter for nine homeless women, with stays up to three months. Clients may remain at the shelter during the day. Curfew is 9:30 PM, nightly (flexibility offered for stability-related reasons). Volunteers provide dinners T-Su. Maintains small clothing bank on site, with referrals for interview and work clothing. Supplies shower/hygiene items and free Laundry facilities. Provides items for making breakfasts and sack lunches, and refrigerator space for clients' individual food. Staff provide mandatory housing-focused case management services, and monthly nurse visits. Shelter program does not include any religious components.
Provides overnight shelter for single vulnerable adults. Clients provided with bunk beds, blankets and an evening meal.
Offers overnight emergency shelter at two Seattle locations: Mary Pilgrim Inn and The Gateway, both in North Seattle. Shelters are for both men and women. Clients are housed in rooms, which are sometimes shared, and some meals are provided.

The shelter can accommodate well-behaved pets, emotional or service animals, and adult couples. Shelter in place is activated during "Blue Flag" extreme weather conditions.

Serves all adults in need of shelter. Does not allow pets or animals, including trained or licensed service animals. The facility is not wheelchair accessible and does not have elevators.
Provides shelter for homeless men along with multiple support services to help clients exit homelessness.
