Coordinates intake into emergency shelter for families at multiple locations throughout King County. Clients are screened for shelter openings that night. Will not turn families away in severe weather.

Once accepted into a shelter, families will be guaranteed an ongoing nightly spot in that shelter program. Intake is usually available in Spanish as well as English; other available languages at intake vary, though clients are able to access shelter regardless of language or ability to speak.
All facilities provide mats and blankets. Many sites are wheelchair accessible and some provide shower facilities.

Provides short-term emergency housing for Clallam County households that are literally homeless (sleeping on the street or in a car) and have one or more minor children.
Families consisting of at least one adult with at least one minor child (under age 18) may qualify for short-term shelter, transitional or permanent supportive housing in Port Angeles and Sequim, while the parent(s) actively participate in case management and savings programs to assist them in developing and implementing a long-term housing plan and obtaining permanent housing. Offers a shelter, meals, and clothing bank for homeless women and children (male children under 9). All services are free. You do not have to be a shelter guest to access the free clothing bank or showers.
Friendship House, is the 38 bed women and children’s shelter of the Union Gospel Mission. It is located at 513 North G Street in Aberdeen, Washington.
Offers shelter for up to 30 days for men 18 years and older along with two hot and hearty meals a day, hot showers and laundry room, spiritual encouragement, two recovery programs, life coaching, and referrals.

Services include: 3 meals daily, shower access, laundry, lockers, housing location/counseling, weekly onsite medical and behavioral health treatment, medical respite program, and limited transportation to and from downtown Port Angeles. The shelter can accommodate well-behaved pets, emotional or service animals, and adult couples. Shelter in place is activated during "Blue Flag" extreme weather conditions.

Information and referral to community resources is also provided. Ten hours of chore work per week required.
